Well, N11111 is for sale too. Just saying. A partnership also means you will be staying in Chi town for many more years???? If you subtracted the cost of ownership from that $100,000 the last Cirrus is worth today, what is the net gain? Did the last Cirrus need the 10 year parachute replaced? This one will need a new chute in 2 years. And, according to one YT channel, they are hard to come by these days. I forget the labor charge, wasn’t cheap. I think you need a PT 6 out front myself. How bout instead of a (I'll guess) a partnership in a $400k cirrus, you get a nicely maintained Saratoga for yourself. You can pick those up all day for 200k or a bit less - and you'd have a great 145-160kt / 16 g/hr. xcty plane -- w/o a partner. Sure, it flies like a truck, but when you want to have fun, you'd still have the RV. I know all this stuff because I AM LIKE YOU AND ALWAYS LOOKING AT ANOTHER AIRPLANE! -- it's like a disease and you're right, it's always about 2 years and it doesn't matter how damn good my current plane already is ------ you're always looking at the next one! when you find a cure for THAT -- lemme know..........
