    I'm sure whatever you said towards the end of the video was important... but after you picked up Maevis, that's all I could focus on. What a cutie! Hope she's still doing well after 3 years!

    I also am new goats, I have three Nigerian dwarf goats after watching your video I looked at the eyelid of my littlest goats about 4 to 5 months old and it is gray he definitely needs worming the other two is about 8 months old what would you start with the worm them?

    Would you still use a 1" 18g needle if it's a Nigerian Dwarf? Very curious as I have large Boer kids, but also have a herd of smaller Dwarfs. Also, how do you actually know if you've gone too far or too shallow? I would like to know because I want to make sure I'm ready if this is to ever happen. I pray never, but goats literally wake up every day wondering how to die. 🤦🏼‍♀️

    I'm embarrassed to say, if those are the worst hooves you have ever seen please don't visit my farm. lol Actually, that was years ago but I still have some lamancha/boer does that are great mamas but man they have horrible hooves that have to be trimmed every 8-12 weeks.

    Since you added 5 ml of PCN, that diluted the vaccine. Doesn't that change the amount of "vaccine/pcn combo" you are administering?

  • @LinessaFarms
    @LinessaFarms6 күн бұрын

    If you do the math, you’ll see the amount. It’s very small. But, yes. It will of course dilute it slightly.

    Would the soil type affect germination? I believe you spread manure across your fields every year Tim? Do you ever allow the animals to graze these fields or are they primarily for hay? Thanks for being such a great teacher. We sure appreciate it!!

    And To Whom It May Concern. Be careful of the New "Fureversaferescue" here on KZread. They have a couple Pyrs in a short, they tell you to go to their Website. But They Ain't There. THEN, they'll give you links to their Facebook and stuff. AND IF YOU QUESTION THEM, BOOM !!! They go off like a Bomb. Threatening you with reporting, and all kinds of stuff. And I never found those guys in their short. So I'd think twice about them. ... just be careful, and take care everyone 😇🐕‍🦺🥰 Edit. Funny that short just showed up again. And they removed all of their comments, but not mine. Now, just looks like I'm talking to my 😂 But I screenshot stuff like that. I don't like scammers. Especially animal scammers. They're the worst. ... always something isn't it

    Yes. Many people creep feed calves. For medium size sheep going to market, it can help with body confirmation.

    Thanks for the video. Check Fred Provenza's book Nourishmet. He shares a plethora of scientific studies on how (given the necessary pasture diversity) animals do know how to ballance their diets and do select minerals accordingly. Another one you might want to check is Pat Coleby's Natural Sheep Care she had decades of success treating goats and sheep naturally with soil management, a diverse pasture and free choice minerals. I'm biased towards grass fed and thing there are there are other grain-related variables (including ethical ones) to be covered: a) if they come from poor soils they'll lack nutrients too. b) total mixed rations and grains in general rely on GMO crops and degrading industrial ways of producing (these grains come with residual toxins from herbicides and pesticides), and c) it's only in last few decades that we have been selecting animals for body weight conversion on TMRs, biologically herbivores do not eat crop grains, and for millennia we selected the ones with good conversion on pastures (hence no grain operations need to source and genetically develop stock accordingly). Thanks again!
