You can patent something you didn't invent. Why? Because patents exist to enrich lawyers, not to protect inventors.

there won't be any decisions about Pylons, imagine they tell the nation "you're getting underground cabling and it's going to quadruple your electricity bill because we need the power companies to fund it, or you can pay 5% more tax and the government will fund it!" :D lmao never happening.

You still didn't give a satisfying reason why we don't get those for when the plane is parked too far from the skybridge, though... getting down and up those stupid flimsy stairs is still terrible, this would be sooo much safer and more comfortable with busses on stilts. Also, I'm always afraid of getting lost on that LONG way to board that bus.

I can't understand the fear side of change. I grew up in an analogue world. My career changed several times. Whole industries disappeared - like falling into craters behind me. You have to keep adapting and learning.

I caught some silver carp out of lake Michigan well over 20 years ago. It never ceases to amaze me how dumb biologists will act just to collect a paycheck for themselves and the companies putting in billion dollar electrifying gates which don't do anything.
