Good stuff
The drive belt broke on mine the first time I turned it on. It's been sitting on the bench collecting dust ever since. It broke straight but at an angle like / that.
Has anyone got this setup and it not charge their jackery? I have a 500 and it isn’t charging with the solar, however if I plug in the normal 110 plug into the input it works so I know the input works
excellent proving there is a real pint to using a wood gas genarater to charge up ones batteries wen in a real world ues well done. les England
Wow you always have a weird one screaming about hurting the earth or wasting precious water THAT GOES DOWN BACK INTO THE EARTH!
I'm at harbor freight right now with both these items scared as hell it won't work
Great job
Your boat is beautiful Josh!!!!!!! Great job!!!!
You did great on building your boat!!!! Very nice!!!!! Love it!!
Hey Josh, I was going back over all your videos again because i am once again thinking of building my own boat. I have a question about the boot-stripe. Do you think the boot-stripe could have been laid out using the laser like you did with the original bottom paint layout?
can u run a coffee pot on this
Stupid stupid stupid. Fallow the law or pay the fines !!!!!
How old is this 40-50 years old ?
Hi mate, I can relate to the anxiety and I really hope your symptoms have subsided. I’ve just come across your channel and seen the epic boat build and your drone footage and really want to thank you for sharing all your work but also your story on how your dealing with Graves’ disease.
incredible
A c heap source of hole saws is something like a downlighter saw kit... usually has a few sizes for the price of one decent saw. Is fine for thin or soft woods.
I juast realised, part of what is wrong in my life is I never do anything that requires me owning a helmet. Screws in thin plywood will buckle the surface as it expands and contracts.
Great Video
building a 1/4 scale PM-38... learned a lot watching your video
My does not work
I'm loving these...thank you so much for sharing!!! Excellent work!!!!!
Incredible work. This is very impressive. And, this compliment is coming from someone who has built several sailboats. I'm so impressed with your work. Thank you for taking the time to share this with us!!!!
Id like to build a 30ft boat like this . Gorgeous
Congratulations hopefully life allows you time for projects and sharing. Miss you and family videos. Perhaps a boat ride every couple of months. Good luck in future and best wishes and prayers
Hopefully the new place gives you inspiration for new projects.
Somehow, it looks Smaller now it's empty.
We’ve enjoyed watching your projects, Josh. Good to see you back on here. We’ll be looking forward to the next thing. And congratulations on your new home.
I hope this is a good thing for you. Thanks for sharing your projects with us, and I'm looking forward to any new projects or adventures you may have in your future.
😢sad... but on to bigger and better adventures in 2024 and beyond. Best wishes my friend!
Looking forward to whatever you put out. The boat was epic!
Welcome back, goodbye garage.
Can I run a 5000btu window AC unit with it?
No, this one is very small.
Do you recall what the gasket material was that you used for the windshield?
Seeing how the transom grew in your video, I am going to do the math and add that extra size (approx. 1/4) to sides and bottom of transom pattern and then cut at 90 degrees and fair later. Thanks for providing the insight to the transom cutout and finishing; this was very helpful.
Great explanation ! Great job.
This has to be the coolest history story of the "PERFECTION KERO HEATER". For ultimate clean fuel have you ever considered using a "MR. FUNNEL" funnel that filters fuels from water, dirt and debris ?? I know from reading the specifications, the funnel filters fluid down to 5 microns with a coated stainless steel filter. This is a very well thought out video Joshua. How much smell do you get when lighting the kero heater ?? Does the flame burn blue or white hot type ??? I am wondering if you would add a stainless steel catalytic combustor inside the unit increase the heat and give you a blue flame. That is supposedly the hottest and efficient flame. Check out Robert Murray Smith video doing just that. I do not know how you will consider that idea since your heater is a family heirloom. Look forward to more great videos from you Sir. Have a Happy Thanksgiving and peace to you Joshua too. vf 😀😀😀😀😀😀
Give her a poke haha😂
Question: any issues with shattering/breaking while shooting..? Love video. Cheers🏹
Hi, I'm about to do this on my Chris Craft, what epoxy are you using to glue these panels down? Thanks.
I purchased one (and a solar panel) mainly for a grid down, end of world situation. This will mainly be used for a lamp, charging phones and flashlights. Thought I could use it for a single heat burner but ill need my gas powered generator for that kind of thing from what ive read.
Good job on the gasifier. I am jealous, lol I have wanted to build one for years. I struggle with welding the barrels like you mentioned in one of your videos. I just made another attempt at a gasifier. My fire tube was much larger than 4 inches I ran it with both forced air and vacuum. Had red coals burning well as long as I did not get back fires which happed several times that would blow all the coals out if the top was open. When I closed the top, it would try to backfire but did not blow coals out the top. The backfires-- is this because my burn tube is too large? I would love to speak with you, but don't know how.
That is the most beautiful little boat I ever saw.
I have my set up and I am so excited to hit the road.
I've had this same saw for about six years. I bought it after comparing it to all the other sub-10" saws, including Grizzly, Rikon, Wen, Jet, Black & Decker, and others. I went with the Skil because it had metal parts where others were plastic. The fence and miter gauge are the weak points of this saw, but everything else works really well. Spend the money on a carbide-tooth 1/2" blade for resawing; you will wonder why you used anything else.
I know this is years later but I just finished your Zip video build. Thank you for doing all the detail build videos, for someone who supposedly not a wood worker you did a great job. I enjoyed them and helped me decided on building one myself. One thing I was wondering is what the family thinks, that was a lot of time and hard work. Hope you and your family has many years of enjoyment with your toy.
Thanks Bro God bless you
How about you show the boat…..
Ive got a 460 perfection. Bought it for 40$ at an antique store. The wick was really hard to get out. The new wick is hard to put it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
i was thinking on buying this panel but im not happy with 63 watts for 169.00.There are better deals out there IMO
63 watts is the maximum input that the jackery will allow, the panel puts out 100 plus watts. Full price for these panels are only $129
follows same principle as a turbo charger.
