2018 year end Zip cruise
We have had an unusually clear, dry week for this time of year and i couldn't resist the temptation to take the Glen-L Zip for one more ride this season, She performed flawlessly as always and despite the cold you couldn't smack the smile off my face! I Love My Zip!

I gotta be honest, I choked up a bit when you erased the board... Thanks for the vids, man. I've been watching one or two a night for a the last couple months while sipping on some whiskey, and dreaming of finally starting my Zip.

Hello Joshua, how are you? I am from Brazil I live in the state of Parana city of Londrina. I watched a lot of your videos from the series (building the Zip)! I found your videos when researching mahogany wooden boats, I really liked the result and was wondering if the project was made by you or bought it or could it help me get a project like your boat? My dad owns a well-equipped woodwork and I want to do the boat with my dad!

i just discovered your videos and really love them!!! i want to build my own riva ...i have some experience with boats throughout the years but i wonder if its too much for me stil doubting if i should do it or not , meanwhile i will start restoring and videotaping the rebuild of a cougar powerboat catamaran that i have bought which originated from 1989 and has became more rare every year even the factory wants to buy it back but i want to make it as new (almost) and then later on decide what i will do.

If I can do it ANYONE can! Don't give up on your dream, build it.
Looks great man, glad you managed to get one more ride in. I am surprised that a skeg was just an option, can't imagine how it would be without one. Looks like it handles really well. Looking forward to spring already!

Thank you! I think the skeg should be mandatory, I bet it gets kinda dicey without one.

Is that a pipe gun on your bench? I really like the styling, been wondering how to make a stock look nice on one of those haha.
Something I just realised about the Zip build. You made it RHD and not LHD, any particular reason? Does it feel odd getting out of the LHD car and into a RHD boat?
You really have done a fantastic job great work. Where did you buy your navigation light from?

I bought it off of amazon, nothing special, my local marine supply store has the same one in stock.
She is so well-behaved!
Do you put fiberglass in the seams like between the frame and plywood on the interior.
Super boat ! What will be your next build project ??

A lot of valuable information in these videos but you drove me absolutely crazy with the 'making good progress' and 'it's looking great' every few minutes and constantly repeating yourself. I reckon you could have done a really good series in about the half the time. Anyway, I appreciate your efforts regardless and the boat looks great.

It wouldn't have been quater as good without the finite detail. I thought the enthusiasm was awesome. I can't paint a fence without swearing.
How can a bench be clean with a stinking ashtray on it?
