Wow, this makes me miss my 76 LaSabre I bought from my grandparents for $800 in 1985. Burgundy with burgundy leather interior and a white Landau top. Nothing cruises better than an 8 cylinder GM or Ford from the 70s and 80s. I’ve had many and loved them all. I loved all my Lincolns too. Nowadays, gas is just way too expensive to drive one of these everyday, but it’d be a great weekend car for sure.

One step Cadillac took for the Calais was to eliminate the stainless steel molding down low between the wheel wheels. Also, leather was not available.

Amazing how by simply adding flush headlamps, they modernized the DeVille a lot. That pearl white colour simply flatters it.

Copper Beige with that camel interior is a fairly rare color combination on this car. In all the years i've followed these Broughams I've probably only seen a handful(less than 5) in that color combination. Would have been nice if the owner would have kept up with the car. The bumper fillers are falling apart and make the car look terrible. I love how everyone thinks they have such a "MINT" car but don't want to spend any money keeping it that way. Low mileage alone doesn't mean the car was well-cared for.

I had a 1984 Chevrolet Caprice just like the car in this video, but my dashboard was slightly different. My '84 Caprice had the 4 round gages. (temperature, speedometer, fuel level gage, & fuel Economy gage), and my clock had rolling digits, and I had AM/FM cassette, as well.

I bought this same exact car only it was black on red and had 77k original miles on it. I bought it off the second owner back in 1988 for $1,950 and it was nearly as mint as this car, so can someone please tell me how mental cases today now believe in their sick minds that these cars are now suddenly worth 30 GRAND?!?!? WHERE IN GODS NAME DOES THIS CAR WARRANT A 30 GRAND PRICE TAG?!?!? THIS ISNT SOME SPECIAL LIMITED EDITION MUSCLE CAR OF ANY KIND, NOR ARE ANY OF THESE MID 70'S CARS THAT LUNITICS ARE LOOKING TO GET 30 GRAND FOR!!! This car is worth maybe half that to the right person in this condition 😮
