@@kelp7060 the point being what? Comedians can't do comedy for fear of being "cancelled" or whatever nonsense? Sounds more like a problem of cowardice on the end of many comedians today than anything else, but that's not new either, some of the most widely respected comedians of the past were considered controversial at times. They just did their acts anyway. If you feel like you have something to say in an entertaining way, who cares is some people don't like it? You can't tell a joke and expect the entire planet to laugh along.

@@adoredpariah Yes! Exactly. Or be attack by insane people. Don't forget that one. They can de-funded just like that sometimes. Or maybe you'll have something happen to like Butterfield where you're forced to go to another state for sensitivity training. Yeah, cancelled is a thing that's been proven 100 times over so stop wasting everyone's time pretending it isn't. Many have lost their jobs and have been completely excluded from many industries because of it. Are you the arbiter of morality? Are you the arbiter of awareness? What a silly way to word it. I agree that it’s all really just Micallef absurdist humour that just happened to use the transgender discussion as a canvas. The “freakshow” URL after welcoming audience discussion is clearly a joke about the URL creator not getting the memo of the tone. It’s really similar to another Micallef joke where he introduces his new book as one that took him five years to write and cost him his marriage. It’s called Who Farted 2 and features random photographs with the caption “Who Farted?” In summary, there’s no snarkiness here, this segment could have been about anything and had the same tone.
