all those big trout those boys caught? were more then likely in a hatchery truck minutes before they thru em off those bridges. My sons and I used to follw the trucks and as soon as a hundred or so of them hit the water? They school up for an hour or so and Im pretty sure they thot we were feeding them when we started catching them three at a time/ Thats why BTW those big trout like over two pounds are so easily caught and its also why they are Pink in color. They are fed Purina Trout Chow that has coloring in it as well as liver. They color them pink so people will relate them to Salmon. No Native trout are ever pink in case your interested...

ACE!? where did you get your info about the crayfish dting instantly upon hitting that boiling water? Cause its not true sir! I love ya man..inspite of your arrogance! Keep your facts straight mr. Just yesterday while watching the " Icant believed I survived! Series.. Three people...at night..in the dark Heading to their campsite mistakingly stepped ove a two foot wide hedgerow right into a deep pool of water!! That is 189 degrees in temp! They each climbed themselves back out of the skalding water!! But then two of them went into acoma the next day! 180 dgrees!! Can you imagine??? Third degree burns on 95 per cent of their body!!! Im sure the crayfish live for a few seconds after hitting that water. My question is...Why would you do that to them to start with.

Want a challenge try fishing the little pigon river in Gatlinburg, up in the national forest, you will need a permit, but their not to expensive, and you can't use live bait and can't keep the native brook trout

Just a friendly piece of advice, those in the northern parts of Appalachia (New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and into parts of West Virginia) often pronounce it Appalayshuh, but central and southern Appalachia, south of those states/areas, they pronounce it Appalatcha. I grew up in the Palmetto State coastal/low country, but travelled our upcountry in the Blue Ridge all throughout my youth, eventually moving to Eastern Tennessee for a while, and some of those folks take their Appalachian pronunciation seriously. Wish you safe travels and tight lines!
