"The Yes Album" is a work of genius, a virtual masterpiece. Every single song is a classic, and there's not a crow in the bunch. "I've Seen All Good People, "Starship Trooper" and "Yours Is No Disgrace" will stand the test of time, unlike the pure shit being put out there by today's artists.

When somebody one day has the guts to write the whole story of Yes - and with no danger of being lynched - I'll hope that the writer will mention Chris Squire as a damn good second voice to Jon Anderson. Beside being probably the best bassist ever in rock music, Chris Squire was also an excellent singer who was able to act perfectly as a second layer to the voice of Jon Anderson. No wonder Squire was a talented choir singer as a boy.

I've seen all good people turn their heads each day So satisfied, I'm on my way I've seen all good people turn their heads each day So satisfied, I'm on my way Take a straight and stronger course To the corner of your life Make the white queen run so fast She hasn't got time to make you a wife 'Cause it's time, it's time in time with your time And its news is captured for the queen to use Move me on to any black square Use me any time you want Just remember that the goal Is for us all to capture all we want, yea, yea, yea Don't surround yourself with yourself Move on back two squares Send an instant karma to me Initial it with loving care, yourself 'Cause it's time, it's time in time with your time And its news is captured for the queen to use Don't surround yourself with yourself Move on back two squares Send an instant karma to me Initial it with loving care 'Cause it's time, it's time in time with your time And its news is captured for the queen to use 'Cause it's time, it's time in time with your time And its news is captured I've seen all good people turn their heads each day So satisfied, I'm on my way I've seen all good people turn their heads each day So satisfied, I'm on my way I've seen all good people turn their heads each day So satisfied, I'm on my way I've seen all good people turn their heads each day So satisfied, I'm on my way I've seen all good people turn their heads each day So satisfied, I'm on my way I've seen all good people turn their heads each day So satisfied, I'm on my way

I was a musician in a high school orchestra in the early 70's. Yes was considered progressive rock that I really enjoyed listening to on an LP. Time came when they toured the southwest US. Music, as I knew it, and my appreciation for outstanding performances changed that evening. I've since seen them several times in several states. I am so grateful to have been there to join in what is perhaps the greatest generation of music the world has seen.

In the dying minutes of the game Daniels scored a try for Halifax which Griffiths would have converted to give Halifax the victory. Unfortunately the ref was too slow to get near enough to see the score and the Warrington players cunningly turned Daniels over. I was perfectly positioned next to my portable radio to see it all. I'm still smarting from the injustice and have never set foot in Warrington and never will

"The Yes Album" is a virtual masterpiece. These guys are older than dirt, but they still sound every bit as good as they did back in the 1970's. Sadly, bassist Chris Squire and drummer Alan White have passed on to the great rock 'n roll Heaven. Lead singer Jon Anderson, along with lead guitarist Steve Howe, are still alive and kicking. Jon Anderson's voice remains perfection.
