  I believe they stopped using the 2 speed transmission in 1968. Or possibly 67. My day bought me an ol rusty 68 Chevelle back in late 70s for a hundred and fifty bucks. So I guess we both had good deals on ol cars back in the day.

  Bburago was great in the 80s. Im going to get into a reference that nobody will get. There was this French comic series, Pif et Hercule, and the ads in the back had Bburagos, typically Group B cars, like the Audi Quattro and the Peugot 405. I never got those (and now, those runs are insanely prices), but got into collecting them and still have some of their iconic models. The 57 Corvette is nice, for the era, of early 90s. They peaked in 95 with the Ferrari F-50 I think. Quality was great and details were phenomenal. BUt after that, they were getting trounced by Maisto, and I bought less and less of them. They were doing more cash grab type models, re-releases, special editions instead of cool cars (likely due to licensing issues, as well as Italian economy collapsing). They didnt have many US cars, though they had a 90s F150 Lightning that I never got lol. Theyre basically at the border between toy and collector pieces. I know I played with them, even if I was careful of them. WIsh I kept the boxes and the certificates for them, but not like Im ever selling them.

  That funnycar looks like a lengthened Nash Metropolitan. I vaguelly remember somebody running a funny car built from a Nash. And yeah, the truck is a Bronco. Looks like its modelled after the Hotwheels Bronco. They were a bit off dimensionally. Too long.

Havent slept, then will sleep 24 hours, nausea, tiredness, and no way I can make a video. Plus, not even sure if the topic is worth it anymore. So many other channels, far bigger and the ears of thebig wigs, that my ideas wont reach. And sadly it will result in the end of Dodge.

  I think Dodge will survive. Whoever is running it is not doing a good job. In my 39 years at transit, the most durable and cars were Dodge/Plymouth. The M-bodies the K-cars were indestructible and comfortable. The Dodge Spirit was slow but roomy and all went past 200k. The Status were a little uncomfortable but reliable. Right before I retired, I had a Grand Caravan assigned to me. Roomy and like all Dodges, cold-ass A/C. Everything else they bought couldn't handle it (Tempos, Cavaliers, Taurus, MV-1). Our work was 90% city miles with extensive idling. Most cars worked 2-3 shifts per day. We had a couple of Neons too, but it didn't work out.

  I've always heard people call. It Jay Dahh but I guess it depends on what part of the country your in. Another brand. Some call it Tah me ka others call it tommy ca. Me ... I don't call it at all. Lol. Not my brand. To collect. I don't collect Jay Dahh because their scale is way off with my collection. I do have a couple only because they were sent to me without the wheels. I put some M2 wheels on one of them and real riders on the other one. and they look okay. But I won't buy them

  I loved those old Camaros. I had two. A Berlinetta and another one that was used by the Miami Beach Police Dept. as an unmarked car. We put like 200k on that one (2.8 V6).

  @@T-JoesModelBusesandMore1210 awesome. There's more to the story. Days before the bus broke down in a few states west an elk got hit by it and the drivers side windshield was busted out. Luckily the driver wasn't hurt the name of the bus company is MAYO'S TOURS. In West Monroe LA. But may be listed as just Monroe. Look it up and see some of their buses. I'm sure they have photos on their site.

It will be a spell before I can send them. I have several boxes to get out that should have been gone last week. But the rain messed up my whole week. And now the truck messed up so that messed up my trip to the post office yesterday. I'm on foot until I get the parts to fix the truck.

  This reminds me of a Mattel hot wheel they released of a combat medic van with real riders and it has this same issue with the tires rubbing in the wheel well. I gotta fix it but I've been putting it off. I will probably cut the axle slots a little deeper and J. B. Weld the axles in place. That should fix the problem.

  Well dang. I guess some castings have issues. If it was a hot wheel. I could fix it by cutting the axle slot a little deeper in the base and then J. B. Weld in the axle. That's because the wheels roll on the axle. A greenlight has the wheel fixed to the axle so you can't J. B. Weld them in place. The only solution would be to use Hot Wheels tires and rims and axles. Then you could cut the slots deeper and weld them in. That's if the axle is long enough. If I have an issue with the axle that's not long enough I cut it in the middle and weld them into an ink pen tube that's cut to the length I need. Some guys use tubing from Hobby Lobby some use the sticks from Q tips. I use an ink pen tube everybody has their own way of doing things. Another thing I do if the axle is too long. I bend it in to a small U shape and bend each end with the wheel back to a 90 degree till it fits the base and doesn't interfere with the interior and body. I also J . B . Weld them in place too. Anywho. ✌🏾😎

  Take it apart and customize it cut that side glass off and mount it on the door. I'm sure you could do it. I got faith in ya. I have several M2 Nova's 6 gassers and two regular drag cars. And they all have Mags wheels on them. ✌🏾😎

  Well that is because the older Johnny lightning castings had plastic tires. Those are the ones that were fast. I have a few of those with the plastic tires. And I have some with the rubber tires too. No big deal if they are gonna be on a display shelf.

  @@T-JoesModelBusesandMore1210 I been doing wheel swaps for about 4 years now. And I still learn different ways to do them I've converted at least 10 greenlight monster trucks into regular 4x4s. Plus a whole lot more wheel swaps on hotwheels and other brands too.

  Sorry Im late with my comment. That is a strange O405N. It looks like an 8 lug wheel, the 18 inch, not the usual 22.5 rims. There were a few models made that way for the Swiss Post transit, though most where O405N 9Ls, the shorter 9 meters. This is a 12m bus clearly. Most people dont know about the German bus standards, the VoV (the middle o has an umlaut). This one is the VoVII, the second standard, where they had the same doors, windows, panels, windshields etc. Just the nose and bumpers could be different, so MAN, MB, Neoplan, all look the same. In fact, my bus, the DAC, is derived from the MAN SL, with was a VoV I, though it wasnt meant for the German market, so it has three doors, not two. As a fun random fact, the DeLorean DMC-80 was also a VoV-II, since it was based on the MB if I recall. It had slight changes to the nose, the headlights, and a few estethic elements, since it was meant for the US market. I ranted enough lol. Great little model. I do love that era plastic models. They had nice quality.

  @@T-JoesModelBusesandMore1210 They are so simnilar. Even the tail lights and signals are the same just with different part numbers. They tried doing this with trucks, with MAN and the French Saviem making the same truck cabins but that didnt take off. Renault bought out Saviem and that was the end of that cooperation lol

  Unfortunately manufacturer as Franklin Mint, Danbury Mint, WIX collectibles are died. We only have Welly, Maisto, Bburago and Motor Max in 24 scale and that's all!
