Did Miami Dade have any of the ex-MTA Flxibles? I thought all of them went to NJTransit. Those were the flat hood and the yellow emergency lights by the route display. Im not sure about the Road Champs models, but I also called them Metro-C models. Im trying to even recall now. The A model was basically the old Grumman 870s, the B models were the "standard" ones that I knew from NJT (with the round plexiglass windows), and the D models were the last ones with the flat side glass, that came in one door or 2 doors. They also had round tail lights in the rear (the cheopo rubber grommet pop in type). The C was the CTA right? Those had the standard tail light stack in the corners (though CTA had also the round ones on the rear hood). They were basically like the D model with the A and B tail lights. Sorry to ramble lol.

Miami-Dade purchased all their Flx Metros new, starting in 1987. They were great buses and I enjoyed driving them. They had the B, C, and D models. When transit entities place their orders, they usually customize it a bit. The CTA liked to order their Flxibles with round taillights and two pane front doors. I have pictures of them somewhere.

@@T-JoesModelBusesandMore1210 Thats right. They had the funky doors, which always made me wonder how the steps were. Since the Flxibles here didnt have the cutaway into the steps. My bus had single pane doors, and your foot can fall, from the deck, alllll the way down to the bottom lol
