Are you able to put a list of parts for the suction pipe delete cheers but cracking video
Very good video buddy , I’m only looking to make one so I can get lawn plugs for planting in other spots around the place , this might just do the trick.👍
I have this exact spreader I’ll be get the templates. Thanks so much!
Not a worry. Feel free to grab a sticker or a stubby cooler while you are in the store 😃👍🏻
Very much like the idea of the pull clutch mod. Would be a lot more confidence inspiring knowing it won't run away if you let go 😂
Absolutely, especially in small yards like mine with plenty of stuff to run into. 😃
Was that a bike brake?
Correct 😃 I was originally going to use a motorbike clutch with the heavy cable. But it really wasn't necessary. And I much rather preferred the short BMX lever
@@rustyinspirations looks awesome and probably works better.
It works very well 😃
The supercut is looking mint 👌An awesome build and great series of videos!! Cheers for the shoutout mate!
Thanks mate. And you are very welcome😃👍🏻 love your content
That's a fantastic outcome mate! Something to be really proud of!
Thank you, Shane 😃
B-E-A-U-tiful
Thank you 😃👍🏻
Awesome job mate....well done
Cheers mate 😃👍🏻
Looking great mate, lovely rebuild and all the thought and effort into the components. Great job!
Cheers mate 😃 looking forward to using it next growing session.
Finally mate! I’ve been waiting for this video for ages
Cheers for your patience Cam 😃 Better late than never🤣
Great job!!!!!! Love your Quality of work! Cheers from America 🇺🇸 you are a inspiration thank you 👍
Cheers Finney😃.
Mine is froze up. I checked oil, fine, pulled plug, still cant pull it, checked if pressure of pump, still cant pull. Sprayed W-10 into Cylinder, now to crank with a wrench to see of i can move it. This is a Pressure Washer!
G’day mate. Unfortunately a lockup engine isn't always a simple hydraulic lock fix. It could be the pull cord, Or it could be something internal in the engine And sometimes catastrophic. In your instance it could possibly be the pump its self that is locked up. You could test this by separating the engine from the pump to narrow down where the problem lies. 😃
😂😂😂 its always the 1/2"-10mm that Always missing.
10 and 12 for me 🤣👍🏻
Your jokes made me chuckle mate :) Got this fuel lock on a ride on, cheers for explaining how the carb is flooding the engine, will do this tomorrow. Hi from England 🌏
🤣 cheers mate. I hope you get it back up and running 😃👍🏻
I need one for my son but we live in the US 😭😭
We did price up posting to the US and it was ridiculous. We might end up selling templates in the future, for people that want to build there own
The best grass of all time hands down.
🤣🤣 cheers Greame 😃👍🏻
Mate did you Do a video getting your lawn back down to cylinder height. Good honest review there love your work. I am missing a vid or 2 of you mowing your lawn thou. Cheers. 🌱🌱
Cheers mark😃 I've got a half edited vid on the computer. I haven't had time to finish it off. I'd love to get it done ready for the weekend 🤞🏻🤞🏻. Thanks again 😃👍🏻
The wood chipper are for small branches a small limbs and turn a pile of bush trimmings into a small pile chipped wood
Yes, I do have a wood chipper. Why do you ask😃
@@rustyinspirations I also have the wood chipper........ Maybe you could do a video on them 🙂🙂🙂
Thanks for making these videos. I have the red pulleys like your neighbours and need a new engine/motor. Think if I stick with petrol power, I'll go the 2:1 box. 1:1 would be crazy fast 😂
Im glad you found it interesting 😃. Yes 1:1 with the pulleys would be fast🤣.
So do you use small wood chippers ???
Small wood choppers? Sorry I'm not sure what you mean 😃
You covered everything I need to know. I just got one of these mowers as a hobby and this is really good information. As far as how to sharping blades, each person needs to find their own way / use what works for you . If there's 10 ways to do something ..... Pick one 🙂🙂🙂
I'm glad it helped😃 You might also like the diy back lapping machine if you haven't already watched it? kzread.info/dash/bejne/lHiTw6dvj6u6mKw.htmlsi=euS5Nl4KzOqa_hSD
Great video 😊😊😊
Thank you 😄
Very educative
Thank you 😃
Awesome review , not my cup of tea either , it would last 5 minutes at my place running over dog turds and tent pegs 😅
Not ideal is it 😆
A proper honest review. I don't know why that company reaches out to people who use cylinder mowers. Once I can't walk I might consider Thanks again Rusty
Gday Robert, yes I do agree. But I couldn't not take them up on the opportunity to play with some new tech 😃. I'm sure By the time we can't walk they will be reliable and will have robot cylinder mowers 🤣👍🏻
Still cant beat the wire in the ground for a boundary and now need to rtk and that stuff
I have no experience with the boundary wire mowers.
None of the issues he had would have been sorted with a boundary wire. RTK is far superior to boundary wires. It's much more efficient and you get a better finish mowing in straight lines, as opposed to the random routes used by boundary wire mowers. Plus it's much easier to have the mower transition between different mowing areas.
@yoric7200 but if there is no clear service rtk is no good as it was explained here and on green and gold life.
I personally think rtk is definitely superior over ground wire. To my knowledge it's the same system used for surveying property roads etc. I'm sure it could be improved to suit this application. Maybe multiple references to get a clear view of the sky and still reach the robot? I'm sure they will nail this system in time.
Great honest and real use review. Cutting through the marketing hype and putting it through its paces. Definitely some shortfalls and interesting points that need to be called out to perspective buyers. Great work.
Thanks mate, 😃 these are all things I would want to know before I pull the trigger on a small investment. 😃👍🏻
That’s a great honest review.
Cheers Clint, 😃
Robot mowers Australia have done some videos on the new model. Looks much much better.
That's really good to hear 😃.
Beautiful what kind of grass in front and back?
G’day mate, I probably should have stated that🤣. Santa Ana couch, back and front. 😃👍🏻
The kind we're all jealous of! 😂
I just manage to get the right angle 😜
@@rustyinspirations Thanks 😊
You should patent your design and start making them simply great mate
Thanks Phil 😃 There are heaps of different styles avalibe. And they can make them better and probably cheaper than I can. 😃👍🏻
Hi nice video, you have inspired me to buy a drill press and convert it to a back lapping machine! When you first built the machine, it looked as though it was running a little fast even on the lowest speed (I think you even mentioned it in the video) In this video it looks to be running slower, have you modified the machine? if so how? Thanks.
G’day mate, I believe it's an allusion on video that makes it appear a different speed. Yes I't does spin a little faster than I'd like. Iv resently got some stuff to modify it and slow it down. I'll do a video of it at some stage 😃👍🏻
There maybe a screw in filter like honda and chinse copys filtee screws in from u der neath get torch look down in tank cap off if one there u will see bit of pai tank has to come off take notuce of way fuel line runs diection it goes if not u may squash fuel line cut fuel supply machine wont go lol i d iud it had to take tsnk back off rerout fuel line all good then
Yes, you are right. it was an internal filter (inside the tank) It was missing. So obviously wasn't there from factors. I done a follow up video showing this 😃👍🏻
Your video was very informative. Im certain I can now repair my prrssure! Thanks!
Please keep me posted 😃👍🏻
@@rustyinspirations Going to the laydown yard this morning. Ill post my results.
Im not a mechanic so I don't know what you mean when you say bottom end. Is your point that the oil needs changing?
Gday Robert, the bottom end is the crankcase, (everything below the cylinder and piston) The crank case contains oil to lubricate the bottom end. Although after time the oil can become slightly contaminated with a small amount of fuel that makes its way past the piston rings. In this case it was exssesive, to the point it had actually increased the oil level. This much fuel will thin the oil and possibly not lubricate as intended. I hope this answers upu question. But feel free to ask more. I'll do my best to answer them 😃👍🏻
Thank for this video as I am rebuiding a supercut and did not strip down the barrel and after puting the machine together found the pauls were engaging when travelling backwards so had to pull the drum our found they had greeased the shaft and pauls so had to come back and watch your video to confirm what you stated about not puting grease near the pauls so will now degrease and reassemble. Very much appreciate your educational video.
G’day Geoffrey 😃, My pleasure mate. I'm just learning as I go. There is so much usfull information out there. Supercuts and model 65s on FB is a good one. If you're not already on there. I'm glad it helped. 😃👍🏻
Aren't they a reversible reel so u can cut both sides of the reel ?
This is Correct. However, apparently a reel is ground in the direction of cut. Therefore I had technicaly put it in backwards after a fresh grind. 😃👍🏻
Well done nothing better than mowing the lawn with a supercut.
Cheers mate, I'm definitely looking forward to it 😁
She runs minty mate , well done 👌🏽
Cheers mate. Im thinking that engine may not have done a whole lot of work.
What a journey, well done mate
Thank you 😃
Beautiful mower well done mate 👏
Cheers mate 😃
Killer job you've done there, very nice 👍
Thank’s Lachlan 😃👍🏻
I would love your templare😊
G,day 😃 go to rusty-inspirations.myshopify.com/collections/all. They are free but feel free to buy some sticker or a echo holder to say thanks 😃👍🏻
Where to buy the instruction for the parts diagram
G’day Geoffrey, Go to files in either Scott Bonnar restorations or Scott Bonnar Supercut and 65s Facebook pages 😃🤣👍🏻
Glenn, you sir are smashing it. We’re loving this build series, thank you 👍🏻
Gday John, So good to hear you are enjoy it. Thanks for your kind words 😊
Excellent work. Well done 👍
Thanks, Robert 😃
Yeah boi , nice work man 👌🏽
Thanks, Uncle Brent 😃
Just keeps getting better! How about pointing the clutch handle to the right and the cable is neat down the left of handlebars? BMX bandit style!!
Gday Jeffrey, 😃 Are you saying leave it on the left but flip it around, so the cable exits on the left?
@@rustyinspirationsyes, sorry for shorthand - enjoying your vids with a few cold ones! Yes, leave it on the left, point the handle to the right. Just an option. The debate is always function versus looks!
No, You explained yourself well😃 it's a very valid answer. It would defiantly be the shortest, best and neatest route for the cable. As they say, if it works it ain't stupit. 😃
It's looking fantastic 👍
Cheers mate 😃👍🏻
