*have a similar front load washer (kenmore elite) and a matching dryer from 2014 and they have been awesome. they clean clothes fast (compared to my old whirlpool front loaders), the turbowash, or in my case, accelawash, has been awesome in every case i had. now, we all have different laundry, so results may very, but it, and the dryer were awesome. now, let’s talk about the dryer. having steam, which is awesome for 2014, the dryer has been able to remove some minor wrinkles in my clothes. it won’t replace my iron, but it is handy in a pinch. the cycles are surprisingly fast, considering it is an electric dryer. 10 years later, and they are still running good. i apologize for being 7 months late, but you will love your machines. i wish you got the pedestals and the mini washer (yes, kenmore has it too), like me, but i get it you have that cabinet above your units. i can’t find the model numbers on either of them right now. also, did you reverse the dryer door already? because your setup is like mine (washer on right, dryer on left). i figured out how to reverse the dryer door, but i don’t think you can do that with the washer.*

Are you still liking these ? Any problems with gasket mold, and do you feel that the clothes are getting clean? I’m considering this set.

I still like this set and happy i got it. I haven’t had any mold but after I finish washing I leave the door open for the gasket and drum to dry. I run the tub clean cycle with washing machine cleaner and clean the drain pump when the app says it’s time which is usually about 30-40 cycles. It’s actually more low maintenance than it sounds. My clothes come out clean every time. No issues at all.

The plugs are currently $7 on RockAuto. The shop most likely buy in bulk from somewhere and gets a discount. But even at $42 for parts, 200-42 means the remaining $158 would be labor. $158 for a 30-45 min job is insane lol

@@shanehowe766I agree that no one should work for free or pennies on the dollar. However, I just changed my spark plugs for the first time on this car, and it took so little time, I went in and removed/cleaned the throttle body along with swapping out my cabin filter and intake filter. All easily accessible. Both filters took me 2 minutes. Removing the throttle body took me 3 minutes and cleaning it took maybe 7. Hell I even thought about cleaning my engine while I was at it. Had I paid a shop to do this It probably would've cost me upwards of $400 to $500. A dealership likely would've been more. Mechanics should get good pay but charging that kind of money for such a simple job is a rip off. They cash in on the laziness and/or ignorance of others.
