2012 Chevy Camaro V6 Oil Change Tutorial & Walkthrough

In this video I do a walkthrough of an oil change on a 2012 Chevrolet Camaro (5th Gen) with a V6 Engine. The engine takes 6.0 quarts of 5W-30 oil. Chevy/GM states to use a synthetic blend in the owners manual. I use full synthetic.
I learned how to work on my first car through KZread and now I'm trying to pay it forward and help out the next person. Learning how to change your own oil can save you money over time & you can rest assured that you did the work correctly compared to having the shop potentially not do something correctly.

Changing your oil at 0% will not hurt the engine at long as you keep it full. In other words, don't ride around a half quart low Monday because you are going to change it Friday.

3:08 pinch weld on some cars are not strong enough to hold a floor jack. You need to use the sub-frame.
