Thank you :) I find that this style of playing is easier and more natural than solo classical guitar. It is easier and more natural because you play with an actual beat pattern (in this video the rhythm pattern has a jazzy swing feel). When you play solo classical guitar there is no rhythm structure to relate to and you have to figure it by yourself. So the key to play like this is simply to have a good enough classical or fingerstyle guitar technique that you adapt to the rhythm pattern that you choose. Keep on practisiing with that goal in mind. I wish you success :)

Thank you. I don''t teach this style as it requires advanced gear and prior knowledge and experience in classical guitar playing. Thanks for your comment and for your interest in my music playing.
This style of playing is hardly teachable sirectly in itself. To the very few students that I take I only teach basic guitar playing and basic music theory. If you want to learn to play this style, you first have to find yourself a good classical guitar teacher, and once you have a good command of classical guitar playing, you need to learn pieces like this by heart and play these with a swing and jazzy feel. And if you want to sound like in this video you need to have an electronic beat player such as a beatbuddy, and a guitar equiped with a Synth-access pickup to be used with a Synth module by Roland such as a GR-55. The arrangement that I play in this video was made by guitarist Mark Phillips. I don't have the music score and I learned it by heart many years ago. I wish you success with your guitar playing.
