💀 hoyoverse games always give you a book’s worth of dialogue. It’s so much reading it should count!! In genshin you can collect books and read them. I’m tempted to add them lol ME TOO! I haven’t read it yet but got so influenced I bought it 😭. I like watching her shorts/tik toks and wanted to support. When I do, I’ll let you know how it goes. I’ve been letting my tbr grow and grow so I’m trying to get through all of those first 🥲 I’ll try it with honey next time! The latest event that I want to play in FGO is also out... so that's another set of reading I have 😂 Who knows... maybe I'll get to it first. The spicy book of hers is all spice w/ no plot. I thought the dark, steamy romance retelling of beauty & the best would be good. Honey adds a sweetness to the curry that's supposedly makes it more like the ones we have in Japan? I don't think it 100% nails it but still tastes pretty good in my opinion. 🥰 Hopefully you'll enjoy it. This vlog was still super fun to watch!! Glad you posted it. Definitely cozy vlog vibes. OMG, fever + the heat wave we have??? Was unbearable on my end 😩We froze some wet towels so I could cool myself down. That helped a lot. I am started to run my AC and it's not for the weak heart. I think our area has like a surge for electricity so it was a bit expensive 😭Might go back to opening windows, praying for a breeze and or fan.

I’ve heard adding apple sauce helps get that sweetness, but I never have it on hand to try. 😭😭 the summer rates are crazyyy. I caved and turned on the ac a few times too. The bill was wild. You don't need to worry about sunspots when you gotta worry about low vitamin D instead lolol. Yesssss. Honestly, I think you can get away with only reading Flawless before Reckless. You can probably skip Flawless if you want too butttttttt Flawless adds a lot of backstory that Reckless lightly touches on. Also the emotional impact is *chef's kiss*. All the mangas are so good. I def recommend but Wotaku has a special place in my heart because it's basically me and my husband lol. Fanfiction just HITS different. Especially with manhwa. GIVE ME THE SMUT PLZ. lolol the poor barista. If I ever see him again, I'll apologize. I REALLY THOUGHT HE WAS JUST NICE AND SHOWING ME PICTURES OF HIS DOG EVERYTIME I CAME IN.

um, COZY indeed! I felt so relaxed watching this honestly! I also feel you on the manga-exclusionary reading slump like I think I'm just in a manga mood because aside from a couple of books I have only been itching to read some manga/manhwa lately! Also that's crazy I have been hearing really amazing things about Welcome to Hyunnam-dong Bookshop and have been considering just jumping into it (the rest of my tbr be damned!) so if you think it's a 5 star then maybeeee 👀 also RARRRRRRRRRRR 🦅🦅🦅BLUE LOCK MENTION!!! I totally get that, like if you know sports manga you know the ~VIBES~, but also I think I was the opposite it took me a little longer to get fully into Haikyuu!! because I knew nothing about volleyball, but I played soccer for 11 years so I was with it immediately! The team did an amazing job of having people sound like actual people telling you their stories. ⚔️⚔️ I AM AN UNAPOLOGETIC THEOxWINTER STAN ⚔️⚔️ Even with how long Swordcatcher was.. I could not connect with the characters 💀. I probably should’ve DNF’d it but I was too far in hoping that the end might’ve had a wild plot twist 😫 Yesssss! The manga and anime are so good but mannnnnnnn something about anime Himmel makes me cry ON THE SPOT EVERYTIME. Like trying to get my husband to watch/read it while crying about Himmel does not do me any favors LOL Thank you 😭 I recently switched to only washing my face at night and splashing my face with water in the morning before moisturizing and sunscreen. I think it has made a big difference with the eczema on my face!

@Chronicallyd that's exactly why I have been pushing myself to actually DNF more! I used to push through every single book because otherwise I felt unfinished but after a while of being put into reading slumps because of it I was like you know what? if it REALLY isn't for me I will gladly DNF or even just put it down and try again later if I think its something I'm maybe just not in the mood for! Okay I'm moving Frieren up to the top for sure!! you have sold me!! OMG NO WAY I literally did the exact same thing!!! I always cleansed in the morning and at night but I saw dermatologists on tiktok recommend just rinsing face with water in the morning and then doing your usual skincare routine and it has definitely improved my skin!!

Yes!!! I started working towards being okay with DNFing. Pushing myself to read books I’m not enjoying is a guaranteed way for me to be in a slump. 🥹 I hope you enjoy!!! I’m acne prone so I was skeptical but it really has made a difference!! Simplifying my morning routine has helped too!

I tried the sandos with chocolate croissants, and they were 👌🏻. It so hot here that the idea of turning on my stove makes me feel like I’m melting 🫠 RIGHT?!? Like WHY??? I was on my way to add the Vanishing Half onto my TBR only to find out I've already added it per your recommendation a while back 😂 I might pick it up as my literary pick for this month in audio format! Your top 3 picks are all so different, and I absolutely love that 😍 Bro, your whole discussion about sequel was me for my June monthly wrap up filming sesh 😂 I think it mangas/manhwas count as sequels because... I downloaded the web novel onto my kindle and MOST are 1500 pages long 💀 So ABSOLUTELY; that's on par with trilogies!! When I'm going to be doing my freak out tag, I'm going to be struggling with the same answer. I will be picking best sequel based on Manhwa for sure 😂😂 Iron Widow has been on my TBR because she's such a good advertiser on tiktok 😂 You enjoying it means I need to bump it up higher on my TBR. I had such a hard time enjoying *most* dark romances in book format? Idk, I think manhwa/manga just hits diff for the red flag boys. I so agree with you with Butcher & Blackbird; it was SO GOOD but unexpected??? I just expected it to be like unhinge and toxic per my experiences of dark romances. I mean... if you want, I'll send you my spreadsheet 👀So you can kind of duplicate? But you'll definitely have to adjust for the newer months and all that jazz. I personally do every chapter ~3.5pages. Semi arbitrary semi not. But I also realize that in actual physical copies, 20chap comes out to closer to like 250-300 pages lol where as with mine, it's closer to 70 pages 😅If you wait until next year, I'll have a much more fully fledged set up 😂I also agree on just reading however you feel; I'm always going to do 52 books since it's just whatever 🤷♀I just know how fast I read, so 52 is something that I know I can easily accomplish. Thank you 🥹! Vanishing Half’s audiobook is so good. The voices are great, but I really liked the flow of how the story was being told. It was so smoothhhhhh. I was having issues with Powerless’s audiobook because the male narrator sounded so stiff and clipped. When I was looking at my books for the sequel questions, I was like ????? This ain’t right LOL. I’m gonna count manga/manhwa as sequels going forward cause it makes more sense to!! Iron Widow is definitely a fun read! I was a little worried that I would miss out on some stuff because I don’t know the history behind the historical characters, but it wasn’t an issue. RIGHT!?!! Idk is it the visuals that make me more okay with manga/manhwa read flags??? Tbf in Hooked, James is blonde and my bias is toxic dark haired edgy I’ll destroy the world for you leads LOL. :000 thank you!! I’m using an excel file too! I’m at the point now that I need to put everything in 😭😭 🥹 I’m glad!!! GIRL Noah hits DIFFERENT as the story goes on. MY SWEET BOY ADAM TOO?!?! Ughhh thinking about it makes me wanna re-read.

Audiobook reads are nice because I feel like I can get around to them better with more of a relaxed paced since Spotify has almost everything; and hoopla takes care of the rest 😂I wish there was like an audiobook review somewhere; I stopped listening to audiobooks purely because of my experience with The Cruel Prince 💀and then what happened w/ Lauren's experience for Five Broken Blades 😩But then I heard about your good experiences with Butcher&Blackbird!! Yesss! I don't care what anyone says about mangas/manhwas, they are probably as not if not longer than most trilogies 💀👹 LMAOOOO, honestly... same 🥴I think the problem with more western ones is that they're just straight up toxic asf. I'm ok with my yandere men but.... the western ones have scenes of straight up abuse that makes me feel like it's stockholm 🙃 Just let me know, I'm like 90% always on discord 😂I'm not a professional excel/gsheet person by any means but it's just my preferred method of organizing. 😭 it’s so hit or miss with audiobooks. There were so many that I just stopped cause I couldn’t deal with it! Tbf for great audiobook narrators, I listen to whatever they do because I like their voices so much. Idk if you tried a Deadly Education’s audiobooks but I enjoyed it! The narrator does a great job showing how the FL is so snappy and salty lol. Right!?! It doesn’t take a lot for me to cheer for someone but something about Hooked and getting to see James’ perspective made me dislike him more 💀 I prefer to have the ML side too. Idk there is something so toxic it turns me off from the story. Bleghhh I’ll stick with manga/manhwas yanderes. ☺️ thank you! I’ll keep that in mind. Yesssssss! I might re-read it soon because I NEED a couple I can cheer for🥹. I keep re-reading the same villains are destined to die chap (the dad one) and keep making myself depressed LOL

It's so surprisingly good -- with beautiful animation 😍 Now that I've started reading both the manga/manhwa along with the web novel and it's been SO good. I find it so interesting what they do differently and how the artists interprets things versus myself! I realize that I think in stick figure format 90% of the time... or like when it comes to the setting, it's very sparse but when I see it in the manga/mahwa... it's SO GOOD 😂 I need to read Leather&Lark soon too. But funnily enough, you touched on the ONE major issue I had with it to, I still gave it 5 stars because the ~vibes~ were 5 stars for me and i finished it in like 1 sitting, but the Amber/Emma relationship devolved a little bit in the latter part and lost a bit of the nuance portrayed at the beginning. I can imagine that coming from more personal experience it would be a lot harder to just look past those issues as well so that's so valid, i love your take on that!!! 🥰

I used to push through every single book because otherwise I felt unfinished but after a while of being put into reading slumps because of it I was like you know what? if it REALLY isn't for me I will gladly DNF or even just put it down and try again later if I think its something I'm maybe just not in the mood for! Okay I'm moving Frieren up to the top for sure!! you have sold me!! OMG NO WAY I literally did the exact same thing!!! I always cleansed in the morning and at night but I saw dermatologists on tiktok recommend just rinsing face with water in the morning and then doing your usual skincare routine and it has definitely improved my skin!!

I was on my way to add the Vanishing Half onto my TBR only to find out I've already added it per your recommendation a while back 😂 I might pick it up as my literary pick for this month in audio format! Your top 3 picks are all so different, and I absolutely love that 😍 Bro, your whole discussion about sequel was me for my June monthly wrap up filming sesh 😂 I think it mangas/manhwas count as sequels because... I downloaded the web novel onto my kindle and MOST are 1500 pages long 💀 So ABSOLUTELY; that's on par with trilogies!! When I'm going to be doing my freak out tag, I'm going to be struggling with the same answer. I will be picking best sequel based on Manhwa for sure 😂😂 Iron Widow has been on my TBR because she's such a good advertiser on tiktok 😂 You enjoying it means I need to bump it up higher on my TBR. I had such a hard time enjoying *most* dark romances in book format? Idk, I think manhwa/manga just hits diff for the red flag boys. I so agree with you with Butcher & Blackbird; it was SO GOOD but unexpected??? I just expected it to be like unhinge and toxic per my experiences of dark romances. I mean... if you want, I'll send you my spreadsheet 👀So you can kind of duplicate? But you'll definitely have to adjust for the newer months and all that jazz. I personally do every chapter ~3.5pages. Semi arbitrary semi not. I was having issues with Powerless’s audiobook because the male narrator sounded so stiff and clipped. When I was looking at my books for the sequel questions, I was like ????? This ain’t right LOL. I’m gonna count manga/manhwa as sequels going forward cause it makes more sense to!! Iron Widow is definitely a fun read! I was a little worried that I would miss out on some stuff because I don’t know the history behind the historical characters, but it wasn’t an issue. RIGHT!?!! Idk is it the visuals that make me more okay with manga/manhwa read flags??? Tbf in Hooked, James is blonde and my bias is toxic dark haired edgy I’ll destroy the world for you leads LOL. :000 thank you!! I’m using an excel file too! Tbf for great audiobook narrators, I listen to whatever they do because I like their voices so much. Idk if you tried a Deadly Education’s audiobooks but I enjoyed it! The narrator does a great job showing how the FL is so snappy and salty lol. Right!?! It doesn’t take a lot for me to cheer for someone but something about Hooked and getting to see James’ perspective made me dislike him more 💀 I prefer to have the ML side too. Idk there is something so toxic it turns me off from the story. Bleghhh I’ll stick with manga/manhwas yanderes. ☺️ thank you! I’ll keep that in mind. Yesssssss! But funnily enough, you touched on the ONE major issue I had with it to, I still gave it 5 stars because the ~vibes~ were 5 stars for me and i finished it in like 1 sitting, but the Amber/Emma relationship devolved a little bit in the latter part and lost a bit of the nuance portrayed at the beginning. I can imagine that coming from more personal experience it would be a lot harder to just look past those issues as well so that's so valid, i love your take on that!!! 🥰
