Dear sir, I'm so interested in this experiment video, and I would like to get some information about this experiment's equipment, I would like to know more about the LDVT's machine properties such as its capacity and the measuring range, your answers would be a very helpful information for my study, thanks!

Thanks for this informative video. Did you use oil coated PVA fibers in this test? Can we use non oil coated PVA fibers in general for ECC, i.e. is there a guideline or rule of thumb to use oil coated PVA fibers? I was wondering about the oil coating process for PVA fibers, which is never explained anywhere. Can we do the oil coating or is it a sophisticated process that needs to be done by the supplier of PVA fibers? Thanks for your reply in advance.

Hi, can I ask a question?
@avegailenriquez1513 жыл бұрын
What material have you used for the mold? and how did you separate the concrete block from the mold, or to what method have you used in order that the specimen(concrete block) did not stick with the mold for the test sample used for 4 point load(flexural test). This would help me a lot for our experiment . thank you. from the philippines by the way.

Simply I used to call it Fibre Reinforced Concrete. I used either steel fibre or that shown plastic fibre. FRC is very useful for underground support such as for shotcrete.

Hi Ravi, we are building an ICF house in Seismic zone (New Zealand). I have been searching for concrete admixture to make it more flexible in earthquake event. Is ECC M45 concrete more flexible than steel fiber concrete like helix micro rebar...? Looks like it was developed in the same University back in the 90s. Thank you for your time.

Hi , please i would like to ask about the minimum resolution required for the images inspection , i worked with a Nikon Dslr camera the image dimensions were 6000 x 4000 pixels , the software was too slow so i resized the images to the half (3000 x 2000 pixels) however the point component still has good representation , is this will influence the result ??

Can you use silica fume instead of fly ash?
@raviranade38668 жыл бұрын
+Ricky Lind The pdf document does not contain the specific names of ingredients because the journal does not allow to do so. Silica fume is 10-100 times finer than fly ash and does not have the favorable effect on mix rheology as fly ash, which is important for fiber dispersion.
