Hey guys,
My name is Jessica, and I am officially a CRNA. My love for anesthesia and interest in KZread is what made me decide to vlog my whole experience during CRNA school while giving helpful tips along the way. I love traveling and living a healthy/active lifestyle...it's all about balance. All of my awesome photos are shot by my amazingly talented boyfriend, Anthony, who is also a nurse. Thanks for tuning in!
Love,
Jess

NP should need doctorate. I am getting my DNP
When did you started dating then? After officially becoming a crna or ...?
Is this for undergraduates
Damn slow it down so we can actually read it
Is working the NICU considered as critical care?
The DNP is a money grab by universities. The DNP will get you no better compensation. I was 8 credits away from a DNP when I got a job in CT surgery. Needless to say I saved 35,000 in tuition, and am well compensated.
Blessings in an abundance of the faith. I salute you. 😘🙏Grace and peace be unto you and to this place. God bless you. 🤍🤍🤍💌🤍🤍🤍Thank you. Will you believe and receive Jesus Christ as your LORD and personal saviour??? I do. 🤍
Lol, to fast...
I feel your frustration. The feeling of failing after putting in hours of work is heartbreaking. I go for 2nd attempt next week. I'm scared as hell. But i will not let this test win, i know am capable

Frustration is a very positive sign. It means that the solution to your problem is within range, but what you're currently doing isn't working, and you need to change your approach in order to achieve your goal.
The Nclex are very difficult and frustrating to pass, I've always believed Nclex is not all about studying, you need God's grace to pass
People keep talking about Richard all over KZread, he must be a very awesome help.
@Yes you're correct but remember heaven helps those who help themselves, try studying if you can't study then get yourself a good help.
I'm sorry, NP average salary $50k-$60k? I make more than that as an RN in a very low paying state!
Wrong check on indeed and you will see job postings for NP over 100k
@GuyaneseBliss don't tell me, tell the video author who put that data in the video. I agree with you.
@@yourbrokenoven I was responding to your comment 50-60k is wrong
@@GuyaneseBliss yes, I agree. The video author got it waaaay wrong.
This was confusing
Poorly framed Video…
The education part of this for each degree is completely completely misleading, especially the pre-recs and backgrounds. It all depends on what type of program you want to get in masters versus doctorate, family practice versus acute care versus neonatology versus pediatrics, the illustration of nurse practitioners in this video was very poorly done. Also have to think about the fact that there’s probably 30 or more nurse practitioner jobs to every CRNA job open.
Do you have to wear that hat thing all day or just when your going to be in the cr room??
Annoying
Welll..we are offering above 100k for an NP
Y’all are too into yourselves.
Is my countys song ❤❤
Oh👱🏼♂️👎👱🏼♀️
I’m a Npc!
Not the hair glitching 😂😂😂😂
the green screen, the off beat snapping, the guy on the left bopping his head like it’s an emotional thing 😭
What’s the song lol?
I dont think am that dumb bc of the green screen
These numbers are so offf 😂
I would not trust either of you to put a Band-Aid on me. OK stop with the clout
Accurate to say NP provides more balance and CRNA provides more money?
this shit kinda dumb
Np dont make 50-60 k lol
That’s tuition cost
Could you go faster i was almost able to read
This is annoying. If you’re an NP in the hospital you have ACLS, PALS, BLS. Also for NP school there’s usually 1-2 years bedside experience required, but I heard some school are becoming lenient on this. Not every CRNA school requires CCRN. Also, many NP programs are doctoral programs. But at this time people have the option to choose. I presume that option will go away within the next few years just like it did for CRNA.
Oh, so you couldn’t make a more annoying video?
Hey guys, I worked with Dr Luther, and I passed my Nclex RN in my 3rd attempt he has got all the material and study plan to take pass the nclex be it RN or PN. I advise everybody preparing for the nclex to contact him
Of course the woman’s not working while in school and the man is imagine that
Hi I want to follow this path but im confused seeing some people say you need a doctoral degree and some saying you just need a bsn please help if you can answer 🙏🏽
A little inaccurate, mostly for the NP side of things. I’m an anesthesiology resident in the Midwest and work with both CRNAs in the OR and NPs in various environments. NP salaries are generally similar to CRNA salaries depending on the specialty and hours worked - sometimes better, usually less though. Most NP schools also require years working as a bedside nurse and some CRNA schools don’t require 2 years of ICU nursing - many are ok with a single year (less than many NP schools). The doctoral vs masters comparison seems cringy to me though. Most of the NPs I work with have DNP degrees - which is a doctoral level degree. Granted, these are still not at the level of an MD, DO, or PhD. I’ve also never met a CRNA or DNP who’s commented on having a doctorate - especially in comparison to other midlevel providers. It’s just a little cringe. Most of the Midlevels I work with generally mock the people who do that kind of thing - just like we MDs mock our colleagues who have to put their doctorate on everything haha.
Yea well in Puerto Rico is in Doctorate level CRNA 4-5 year 1 year in ICU or ER experience. I guess depends on the country or state tho.
I read somewhere that the CRNA will be changing to a doctorate level in the US, but I may be wrong. As far as the NP salary, I doubt they make 50-60k like they said bc that’s what an RN with an associate makes in a lot of places.
@@annad5130it changed to a doctorate level EVERYWHERE in 2021. You cannot take the boards if you didn’t earn a DNP in anesthesia. So that’s not just in PR, it’s everywhere.
@@annad5130someone is messing up the pay ranges. Because I'm a Surgical tech and straight out of school I was making $70 000 to $75k in less than a year and now I'm making $130,000 but at this place my insurance isn't good but the pay is great. And I've only been a take close to 2yrs. I will make 2 years on April 29th
@@annad5130that’s the cost of the schooling not the pay it gives
Noctor
Guys, after each $$$ amount just tap the screen to stop it so you can read/comprehend it!
Ok so nurses taking over hospitalist and anesthesiologist jobs for less money. That’s all this is 😅
You take the words off too fast
Very fast useless video
You guys are from my neck of the woods and if I’m wrong I’m ashamed …. lol you guys gotta be from New York ….
yes we are!
im from Brooklyn .. current nursing student hoping to get a position in the icu at Columbia or langone Crna is my ultimate goal @@JessicaSchell
It’s too fast
CRNAs were top dog for decades. Many Advance Practice nurses have caught up in income and have much better lifestyles. Think Derm or Critical Care.
Had to pause each time. So, which would you recommend then?
I think you missed the mark in attempting to make a point 😢
Just start over 😂!
Please Health care job me vida
I need more videos. Or more shorts. I am working on getting into Crna school and need more channels to watch to keep my motivation 😂
Np 😉 is masters level
