I sat on DB and went 19-0 with a GC deck in match 2/3. I put a copy of United We Stand in it and bruh... Scape Goat on End Phase into Normal Summon equip with United We Stand is actually so dumb. I then converted that part of the deck into a Cannon Soldier Fetch Deck and was killing people by turn 2 and 3 sometimes.

Kevin Tewart had a habit of trolling and ripping on any lay person on Pojo for a long time, his articles were written well, but definitely had the aura of "i have the big chair, I make the rules". As much as he helped create the game for what it is and was at the time, its still tough to defend his ban list articles on the whole. Plus, you know, dude holds the Seal of Orichalcos. Overall, I left the game during Order. The death of every deck i owned, and the inane ugliness of the game, everyone rapidly trying to rip eachother off via trades, it was a sign that XYZ era yugioh was where i needed to leave. I came back during Duelist Alliance, the advent of Burning Abyss and Tellarknights. Completely dodged Dragon Ruler Format.

new to the game and even i could see how good spy is my current and first deck is a chaos shell but some good stuff along with it like spy and gaurd then i have a kind of smokescreen for full gravekeepers in the sideboard

My build is drastically different. I don't use Spy because I got tired of people Knoc'ing it and found that Normal Summon into Tomato is much more consistent at achieving what I set out. I also only play 2 Tomato and I replace the 3rd with a D.D. Assailant which makes Return more live more quickly but I guess my deck decisions are more based on what I'm personally playing against a lot.

Literally the entire reason that you play Spy is that you WANT people to NoC it. Half of the deck's strategy is basically to just NoC stuff and build up a nice banish pile for free.

Many traps are chainable, like Raigeki Break, Jar of Greed, Just Desserts, etc. Extermination also can't deal with continuous spells like Swords of Revealing Light. Lastly, using Extermination on a card like Mirror Force or Torrential Tribute forces you to banish your own copy from your deck, giving your opponent valuable information.

everytime i see a burn deck that isn't ab out chain energy they just play 20 or more traps, people can have up to 4 jinzo/decree effect, and yet they don't play judgment of anubis somewhat of bad design imo

2-3 smash is pretty standard in all earth decks. You need it to out Spy, Reaper, BLS, etc.

I like the Wok in the eartha aggro side. You attack with the Goblins then you can heal 2300 which is a lot. And in the last deck i agree with you 100% he should really play 3 faiths less darks are not a problem because TER is a dark aswell.

I don't understand why 3 Raigeki Break/Wind Blast isn't commonplace in Chaos decks. If you are playing all of those discard outlets why would you not want to make use of them with such a good generic removal card? I'd say if you are side decking Royal Decree for burn decks then you should also have a Mobius in the side to destroy one or two of the dead traps before they can be activated post Trunade. It's also nice monster to pair with Wok if needed. Both depending on the skill and list of a Panda Burn duelist they may not have much of an issue dealing with Decree. It can be borderline suicidal against Cat Burn. When it's active what are you defending yourself with? The nonexistent Book of Moons? To me the better card to deal with both aggressive and passive burn decks is Dust Tornado.

i have a cyber stein solemn wishes deck that i really enjoy. The wishes make it so that stein isnt just useless once you drop equal to or below 5000. I think lifegain with stein could be more explored.

I think Goat format is the Halo 2 of Yugioh while Edison is the Halo 3 of Yugioh. It even overlaps with the player base, the age of players, and to a lesser extent (not everyone had xbox and FPS) what the player base literally played. This is the best comparison as both those games are respected from the Halo community as the golden age and have haters between communities as well.

While I personally think Edison is THE modern yugioh (cause that was around when I played), for most people it might be old school. So i think be careful with the term "modern" as no retro format wants to be compared with current format. Otherwise good video, mainly as intro to edison. I just wish u said good thing about Edison other than " its not shit like goat". Cause I've never tried Edison again but that frogs plays look helllla fun

So I want you to test a random card in some games. I've been playing Barrel Behind The Door with my Ring of Destruction because it's staple inclusion in every deck, so it works with opponent's Ring as well. Then I also sometimes just rob burn players of games just because I main deck 1 copy and side the other 2. I'd like to see your thoughts on it and see if you'll test it out some.
