More questions than answers here, what if you have the big box internet providers? Verizon, Century Link specifically, will this work with those providers? Won’t they want to charge you outrageous prices to install this themselves?

No. You set up your own routers from the ISP. People do mesh wifi routers, this is just making your own cheaper

Maybe you've answered it in another video I haven't seen yet, but my question is, would it be and benefit to dig down a few feet in the greenhouse area vs having it at ground level?

Depends on your location. Every foot down where I live makes 4 ft of shading in the winter. ✌️

@ArkopiaKZread I live in a high dry climate at about 42 degrees. My winter sun is at about 24 degrees. June 19th of this year, just a week ago, we had a killing frost. 4 days later, and we were at 94 degrees fahrenheit. In the winter, we hit -26 Fahrenheit for a week. It's hell here, but I can't get my family to leave. Thanks for your videos and all the work you put into them.

You can get 12v 24v water heater elements and run off a solar pannel, you can use an old water heater and put 12v element it or put in those 1000liter tubs. Every bit counts.

I have wanted to weld up a pipe to my sub soiler to make a conduit/waterline installer BUT I love Waffle Fries more than I like planting potatoes. Might have to redo plans to make my subsoiler even more usefull.

We lived in Thailand and grew our bananas, they are so much tastier than the ones you buy in a Canadian grocery store. And CONGRATS well done. Those pups will take over your entire greenhouse. Cheers Roger

Insulate the exterior at night. Cheapest method could be merely a mylar fabric shade for infrared. Foam panels with reflective metal coating (polyisocyanurate) would be even better. They could be used for concentrate light during the date when horizontal to the ground.

I think sand batteries are used in industrial situations because they can be heated to thousands of degrees and have no retained moisture. Clay would not compact well with zero moisture, and if you try to charge it with more than the boiling temperature of water, you would have issues.

When using polycarbonate panels in geodesic greenhouses, it's important to note that they usually contain Bisphenol A (BPA), which can leak through condensation onto your produce. 😐

The barn is nine feet from the house…….. our modem & router are in the basement. Could you explain the setup I would need (using Asus routers ) to achieve this. Thank you

Not gonna lie, it seemed like the host was a bit sour about the fact that Patrick 'stole' his design and ran with it, since he mentioned it many, MANY times throughout the entire video being "my design" and "looks eerily similar" etc., etc., etc. But, regardless, I love how efficient it sounds in such a cold area. I also love those big ol' industrial type shelves for the multiple IBC totes.

The aquaponics grow beds and the settling filter keep the water clean. I've never had to clean the tank.
