Has anyone actually tested the durability of HST s cut your way. You seem to find the bias edges a positive, but what is the downside of this reduced stability in the fabric.

I love the method you used to connect all the different size blocks. Sometimes I have different sizes and it's a puzzle how to connect them, especially when I don't want them to look all the same. Thank you for this video

Unfortunately, I only have one fabric shop in my area and they don't carry lots of your fabrics. I love your pixelated landscape quilt. It's fabulous

Rob, am just finding your amazing tutorial! I took classes while on an Asian cruise taught by Paula Naidlestern. She has designed fabrics and has museum pieces using this technique with her fabrics.

No, no, no. Your second method yields hst units with all bias edges. Awful! If you're new to quilting do not do this second method. Get yourself a set of Clearly Perfect Slotted rulers and do it the correct way or you can use the bias line on your ruler to do the same thing if you don't want to buy another ruler.

I love this strip method and I also love the color way of the grays and black strips on Frye wall behind you. Would you share how you cut/arranged the strips for the gray version? Is it in the purchased pattern? Thanks

I'm decreasing my stitch length to 2.0 mm; your explanation made sense for me in piecing a quilt top. Question: I make a table runner that is essentially a "flip & stitch" combined with QAYG (so I am sewing on strips but through the batting and backing; it's called Braided Runner (I think); it is my quick "go to" for weddings and house warmings). My question is does the 2.0 mm stitch length work for this when I am sewing through the top, batting, and backing? Thank you for your insights.

So glad that I found your video on how to load Minky on a longarm. It was right before I was to try quilting with Shannon Cuddle for the first time. I was nervous as I began but the fabric loaded well and quilted up beautifully! Thank you for giving me a bit of courage just when I needed it.
