At first I thought you were doing a Mario Bros. quilt 😂🤣😂Haven't paper pieced yet, but it's on my list. Thanks for the tutorial.
Another interesting video and chat! Thank you for posting this!
Great video. Awesome fabrics. Very nice indeed. Thank you very much.
I was looking for a good beginner paper piecing project and instructions...thanks for the great tutorial and pattern to start learning this technique!
A smaller stitch length is preferable. Perforates the paper better and makes it easier to remove the paper after you are done.
Hello Rob ! Is any chance you might do a video on “walkabout” quilt pattern soon ? If you have done one already Could you please post the link to it ? Thanks for ALL your videos. You are a very pleasant person to watch and learn from. 👍❤️
Rob, I do a lot of paper piecing. I’m always confused is it ok to use my Rotary cutter on paper? Will it dull it?
the link doesn't work
I cannot wrap my head around paper piecing. Yet I can piece in the hoop on my embroidery machine, which is very similar. You seem to be doing it slightly differently, cutting before you sew. I am going to have to sit down some day soon and focus, and learn this.

Cutting before you sew is where a lot of people make the error. Using a large scrap piece, sewing and trimming is what I do and I use less fabric. It’s all personal choice though.
Rob, I think your directions for the paper piecing are confusing, especially for newbies. I have paper pieced several projects and it's not that difficult. I do enjoy your tutorials!

Not to mention that mushroom was not designed well, as it could have been done in two sections, and you wouldn’t have had to line up anything.
That mushroom could have been done in two sections, it would have been a lot easier. You had to line up a lot of pieces, but if it was two sections it would have been more forgiving. Either way, cute and well done.
