I never knew the Vent geyser was angled towards Grand. I thought it was angled away.

Thank you! I appreciate the silent scan... from the top of the cinder cone of a 2,000 ft deep lake in the caldera of a volcano. Yikes! Thanks, but yikes!

I don't know what be so in awe inspiring about watching a guys or go off I mean these people in their inspiration they better get a handle on it I think Yellowstone is nothing but satan's butt hole.. Maybe all that steam is a EL'phredies river. Jesus called this place this flat ugly Earth a dying carcass or a dead carcass so then we start looking at it like that and then everything looks dead and small puny I'm not impressed with mountains any More , just a big pile of poop. The sun is nothing but a glaring piece of junk the sky's turning into a grid.. And flowers have lost 81% of their fragrance The soil is sour And stinking clouds up there nothing but a bunch of Fake floating poision full of aluminum And that Broadway called mother nature's just a flip of a switch and I'm living on a planet with half the humans are gone and robots and clones and synthetics have taken their place wanna argue all day long... Yes some big blue freak job marble one big lie stop having babies we're eating fake meat they're cloning meat not cows just a meat give it up hike in the world who cares anymore the path is well traveled & Worn out... And all them d*** national parks have been sold to China they're the ones getting the money off of all them tourists going up there and poke in it s***

Wonderful video. I would like to visit this area. I bet you didn't see too many other backpackers/hikers. It's late enough in the season bugs probably weren't a problem either. Is Asen playing the accompanying music? It's lovely, too!!

It’s either by Crane or its Mickey hot springs out by the Alvord Desert on the south side of the Steens mountains. I could be wrong about both but that would be my guess

I love this kind of science! I find it interesting that some hot springs don't lose or gain any extra water. They just use what they have. 👍
