A sampling of images from our Shikoku Temple Trek trips over the last decade. The Shikoku Temple Trek trips (we offer three of them) are composed of a selection of hikes from the 800-mile-long Shikoku 88 Temple Pilgrimage. Today, most of the pilgrimage route is along paved roads, but we focus our trips on the best remaining segments of the old pilgrimage paths across the mountains.
We started operating Shikoku Pilgrimage hiking trips in 2013. That year our group was followed by a PBS film crew. The 2013 Mountain Hiking Holidays group was featured in the Shikoku episode of the PBS television series "Sacred Journeys."
