I'm having the same issues with Sian and gcse's. She doesn't want to do them, but she fancied college. I looked into foundation / functional courses but it'll mean her working her way up as far as she can aiming to do gcses in maths and English, this has now put her off. She could have applied for a 14 - 16 year old placement to study her gcse's but it meant going to the city and that's too far out and she hated the idea. I'm now thinking about online courses which can give her recognised diplomas, aiming at her interests and maybe some voluntary work to gain work experience toward building a cv. We've got one year to decide! x

I like to walk and see other peoples gardens, no matter how small. It seems a happy thing when people grow something... anything! My aunt lives in housing for low income, and she has the prettiest little garden spot by her door. She grows tomatoes, cucumbers onions and herbs. I'll have to video and show it when I next visit her. Peas do not grow easily for me... I was too late this year to get any in. I may try a crop in the fall, otherwise it will be next year.

COVID has given the NHS Excuses not to do their job. Ever since Covid we’ve seen the NHS not care about anyone other than their pay checks. They forced the vaccines on staff, then the vaccinated got injured, now it’s resulted in short staff and double the amount of patients. All because of COVID. UK has always had the worst dentists. Now it’s just going to get worse from here on

I've just found your channel this morning and Facebook page. It's funny you say about the child at high school who was hurting themself because of being at school. My little boy was in an early years setting we were told it would be good for his development as he had additional needs and development delays. He was there for 10 months, the first few months was fine he was with the under 2s even tho he was 2, then he was moved to the over 2s room with no warning the decision was being made. We turned up to collect him one day and was told the Monday he would be in the other room, he wasn't walking at the time either, anyways in the end he ended up not being the seam happy little boy that we knew, he cried everytime we dropped him off, we were all super stressed out but we thought this is 'normal' it what you do you go to school. Then I found out that you can home educate and now since he hasn't be in that early years centre since September 23 he is back to being that bright, happy boy we know.

A lot of Boomers sent their own children to daycare from an early age and then they sent their old ailing parents to nursing homes. Self-realization was always more important for them than taking care of their closest family. Of course they won't suddenly change their priorities now.

American boomers are incredibly wealthy. We have to pay a lot of taxes to support them, they get retirement payments, and they get free healthcare, and they were able to buy houses when real estate was cheap. They are so spoiled and lazy. So now we are struggling, housing is much more expensive, we have to pay for health insurance which is crazy expensive. It's so much harder for us. If a mom has to go to work and the grandmotheres are sitting around watching TV and can't be bothered to help and say just send the kids to daycare, even though that's incredibly expensive, it's just because they're selfish. No one expects someone who has to work in old age to quit their job to watch grandkids for free. I don't think Europeans really understand how wealthy Americans are, especially boomers.

Both parents have to work now, just to tread water, often they reach out for a date, so they can go to a place to eat, and enjoy their marriage. When grandparents refuse to help, make things difficult, people don't get any time to be husband and wife! Time is so precious! And between two jobs and children how do they have any time for themselves? It's selfish in a way especially if they aren't fully employed, if they need to work constantly as well that's more understandable obviously. It's hard enough to work jobs, 2 jobs apiece sometimes, raise kids, and manage everything?! Why is it selfish if they aren't busy? Why do they constantly have to be BUSY BUSY BUSY!? WHY CANT THEY JUST MAKE SOME TIME??? WHY is it awful to want to take my wife on a romantic date once in a while?? She needs to feel special! And it keeps the marriage alive and healthy. It's really a small price! Just watch the kiddos for the afternoon, 12-6 or even ,5. They got more time for their DOGS. They go on vacations 3-4 times a YEAR.

Because NEVER Trickles Down Reaganomics has blown up the cost of everything EXCEPT wages this Includes the move to stop enforcing anti monopoly laws that allowed corporations to increase prices unnecessarily during the pandemic. Since the 1980’s every industry has gotten smaller meaning few choices for consumers. When you were raising kids the wage increases you got did not go into straight into the Stockmarket EVERY QUARTER through legalized stockbuybacks for the benefit of only the wealthy. Include increases taxes on workers and decreased taxes in corporations and the tax burden has been systematically moved into workers. Stealing from workers in the form of Wage theft, Stagnant wages, increased Payroll taxes, decreased(or NEGATIVE) corporate taxes and corporate subsidies just as a few methods of theft from everyone you know. The top 1% has stollen 50 Trillion dollars from workers over 50 years. That is equal to $1,100 STOLEN PER PERSON PER MONTH FOR LIFE!!!

Social mobility has changed that but it doesn't add up - now both parents have to work and they also have to look after the children entirely themselves? Doesn't add up.
