I am a native of Arvada, born there in 1937. I remember with fondness riding the old yellow electric tram nine miles from the downtown Denver "Loop" off of 15th Street out through North Denver, past Berkeley Park and Lakeside, then down over Clear Creek and up to the Arvada terminus on Grandview. The population of Arvada at that time was just over 1,000. Everyone knew everyone else. I went to the only grade school in town. The rail track at that time ended just where this video identifies "Old Arvada." Other tram routes branched off to Golden or Leyden (an old coal mining town near Table Mountain). Very little of that remains today, but I still enjoy visiting when I'm in the area.

It is quite disappointing to not see an observation "dome car" included in the procession.
