What do you use to print the computerized tape labels? Pretty nifty how the print is nice and neat and it looks like it adheres well while also being easy to remove when you finish a jar and are ready to re-use it for the next culture. Also, how often do you stir a freshly sterilized and inoculated jar to ensure the mycelium doesn't clump up and become hard to get into a syringe later?

Excuse me but that layer of mycelium, could it be used to turn into mushroom leather? If you search "mushrooms leather" there is a video with a layer like that identical but thicker to make leather. Also since you work with mushrooms, how hard is it to try and replicate that layer of mycelium consistently?

I have wondered the same thing. I know that in at least one video I watched on a lab that made mushroom leather they said they grew aerial mycelium. They grew the mycelium in conditions where it would grow in a layer above the substrate. They didn’t say what those conditions were though. I wish I knew.

@@tempestseraphim5457 the speeds don't matter. As long the mycelium is into tiny bits you are good. You don't want it to clump up for long or it will float to the top and start trying to grow mushrooms lmao.
