  Usually skip the empty spot. This is a phase 1 case so half baby and permanent teeth.

  Hello, I opted out of IPR for my treatment. My orthodontist said there would be some imperfections. I basically wanted the best teeth I can have while having the original size of my teeth. In addition to what my orthodontist said, are there other things I should be wary of?

  As long as there is not a significant bite issue from not doing it, it shouldn’t be too much of a problem.

  Hi! My son has a crossbite (mild posterior one - about 3 mm) and our orthodontist wants to use rubber bands on his Invisalign aligners to correct it. The problem is he has a perfect upper midline and the bands will shift it off center. I really don't want to do this! What other ideas/options are there? He is about 5 months into treatment (total time is 18-24 months).

  Usually getting the posterior bite correct fully is much better functionally than having the midline off a tiny bit. Make sure to talk with your orthodontist and see if this is the case.

  I got my braces 8 months ago then my ortho remove my first premolar only so I got mid line shifted Now the orthodontist doesn't care about opinion well and he doesn't even listen My chewing also change😭 upper teeth ending landed in the middle of lower teeth it's so painful 😖😖😣😣😣

  As a intern dentist I am saying this You can have brushes specially for patients with braces and it cuts from centrally not from side which comfortable without any sharp ends if you cut by your self

  yes, your right, there are special brushes out there for getting in certain areas of teeth ,gums, breaces, etc.. this hack is for those who don't have one or can't get one... but you can cut these short enough to not make the cut ones not touch on the sides leaving only the non sharp center bristles.
