Take care of yourself.
Debbie-Anne, I have enjoyed this video immensely...thank you for sharing your book haul with us, and for a peek at what you're working on. I hope you're feeling better soon. Hugs and much love to you, dear friend.
I'm so glad you enjoyed it Shelly. I feel better today, thank you so much. Xoxo
How do you use the really old brittle pages? I bought some pretty books but the pages seem to brittle to use for anything.
I layer them with other paper, and sometimes a matte medium or seal (mod podge) helps.
You don't know me. Honestly I just found your videos yesterday. But I just love your work. And the botanical kits you've made are so beautiful. I do understand changing ones perspective, its a hard hard thing. I send prayers for you. Hugs
It's a true pleasure to meet you, I appreciate your kind words more than you know. I hope our paths cross here again 🌼❤️🌸
sending healing thoughts, my friend! Gayle
Thank you my dear ❤️❤️❤️
Dear friend. Sending you warm thoughts and comforting hugs. Love your digital collection. The vibrant colours and the images are just above and beyond. My hearing is not the best but I am sure that book with your botanical digis was whispering my name 😊❤ Your talent is undeniable and I have enjoyed everything you come up with. Better days ahead I wish for you. Xoxo
Thank you Pernille, you're such a good friend. Xoxo
I’m here to the end! 💜 We have our crosses to bear. I’m sorry vertigo is yours. I hope there will be better days again for you. I truly enjoyed this quiet video. The images and illustrations in the set of two books are very, very nice. I think they’re old enough to be in the public domain, at least they’d be under US copyright law. That rung a bell. I think you may have talked about copyright law in a video long ago. About how we ought to respect those laws. Hey, those signatures are lovely. The green and the red are fabulous together. Rich. Well, Debbie-Anne, it’s always good to see you here. I’ll hope for you to be well enough to continue here. 💜💜💜
Thanks, that really means alot. I haven't checked the publication dates on the books but indeed if they don't fall within certain dates then they really shouldn't be used digitally for profit. I got one copy to cut up for collage so it will be fun to use that way. So glad you're in my corner xo.

Thank you my friend, I really appreciate that ❤️
Just Beautiful. Awesome video xx
Thank you xoxo
Hi Debbie Anne, Love your Book haul. I would read all of them especially the Two England's and the Canadian ones, awesome illustrations. Beautifull Digi's and Yes you give yourself full permission to reflect on all the wonderful work you have done and are still popular today. I send Prayers and Healing to you Hun and hope that things get better for you. How's Baby?, he obviously knew he found a keeper in you and a great little companion for you in your studio. Huge Hugs my Friend xx
Thank you my dear, I really appreciate you. Baby is doing well, a bit grumpy at times but sweet mostly 😄 and doesn't mind just cuddling on my bed days. Hope you're well too, big hugs xo
Always love a quite walk through with paper sounds. I wish it hadn't come because you aren't feeling well, though. :(
Thanks my friend, I may do them again just because it's relaxing 😊🌸
Hope you the dizziness passes soon. Great book, haul! The 2 journals are coming along nicely! 😊 Can't wait to see what else you add to them. 💕
Hi Jennifer, thank you! They're going to take awhile to make but so far it's going well. Hope you're doing ok xoxo.
Great books❤❤ I love books, they are my happy place 😊 Prayers for what you dealing with, health wise. 🙏 😊😊
Thank you so much, I really appreciate that. I'm looking forward to reading a few of them soon. 🌸
My mother has been experiencing dizziness/vertigo for 10+ years. It is continuous and they've found no cause, nothing really alleviates it. What are some of the things that have helped you? Mom is currently doing physical therapy but hasn't experienced any relief. None of the antivertigo meds have helped. One thing that helps with the nausea is anti-nausea drugs and heartburn chews with ginger. She is 80 years old and is frustrated with her lack of mobility/travel. Unfortunately she's not a crafter, so can't enjoy that. I hope your health journey improves. Thanks for the content that you do put out and I enjoy thrifting too!
I'm so sorry about your mom's condition, it can be so isolating. I get left behind often due to not being able to drive or even be in a car, or standing or sitting too long, etc. And there could be so many possible causes. For me, the main diagnosis was orthostatic intolerance (POTS) so I was encouraged to get my heart pumping daily with simple walking in place etc. I haven't found many solutions but I feel the spells coming on - I start retaining water (muffled sounds, congestion, peeing more) so I take the betahistine before it gets bad until the worst is over. I reduce sugar intake, increase fluids and add electrolyte crystals to my water. The head rotation techniques sometimes help, but that only works if the vertigo is caused by inner ear problems. I will pray for your mom that she may find some quality of life xoxo.
This is one of the most inspiring look at journals I’ve ever seen. I am quite unwell these days but I must thank you for brightening my day with a look in your lovely journals.
Thank you, I'm so happy I was able to do that for you. I'm very sorry you're not well...Sending you the softest hugs, lots of love and healing thoughts. Xoxo
Long time follower here! You have been a wonderful inspiration and I'm very happy to see a recap of some of your lovely creations!!
Thank you so much Bonnie, that's very kind. Big hugs!
Perhaps I missed you telling how many pages you had in the signature. I hope I can find a legal size hanging file. I like the elastic closure and the one hole attaching the signatures.
I typically put 8 to 12 pages per signature in my journals, of average weight paper. The elastic closure is great because it accomodates the journal if you start filling it with extra cards and tags. Thank you for watching, let me know if you have any more questions :)
Lovely!
Thank you! 🌸
This is excellent. I'm just beginning. I love watching your videos. ❤
Thank you!
Enjoyed seeing all of your journal creations from over the years and how you are using them. Happy to hear your sweet voice again. Thanks, Debbie.😃
Thank you so much, you're too sweet. It's great to be back xo
Big sigh. Just hearing your voice was a blessing 😉
What a lovely thing to say. Thank you so much ❤️
Beautiful Video ❤
Thank you Ellen 😘
Nice journals. What is the really hard noise in the background? 😮
Thanks! Air conditioning and fan perhaps? We were in a heat wave. Or maybe my parrot?
I think the airconditioning 😊. We have here only cold and rain instead of summer so I didn’t think of it. Thanks ❤
Apologies, it can be annoying to hear in videos but lately my time is more limited so I have to record when I can and it's not always possible without the noise. Xo
@@debbieanneEVG I understand 👍🏻
I’m so glad you’re back, DA! Ahhhhhhh! Great fun video too!
Awe thanks my dear! 🌸😊
I love your postage stamp book! I'm also totally addicted to postage stamps. I seem to have an ever-growing supply and use them on most of my collage work. It's amazing to me how a tiny piece of paper can be so beautiful and also survive for a very long period of time. It makes me think about the journey it's taken before I use it in my project!
Exactly! Each one has a unique story. Thank you so much my friend 🌸❤️🌼
😂 a Vachon Mille-feuilles box. A staple here in our refrigerator ❤ cute
Right??? It's been so long but taking this journal out this week is making me crave them again 🤣😋
Very inspirational! Thank u! So pretty!
Thanks!
I am sorry calling you with wrong name Debbie, wrote Diane. 🙏❤️
No problem George, it's all good 🤣❤️. Thank you for the sweet welcome and encouragement, I really appreciate it xo.
Thank you so much for sharing Baby’s story, he is absolutely Gorgeous ❤ Your junk journal kits are so Beautiful Diane❤👌 Thank you so much for sharing them and for inspiring with your creativity! Welcome back, great to see you again ❤. Take your time and do what you love and what/when you feel like sharing your beautiful creations!
Found your channel and you made a wonderful video. Great instructions. Love the butterfly fabric too. 🥰👍🇱🇷
Thank you so much!
It's nice to have 2 projects going to switch between, especially if you can leave them both set up. And it's fun to see some of your earlier digis. :)
Thanks! It was nice for me as well, just to see how many digis I've made over the years. 😊
Love Baby's story! My choice is for the botanical - but either will be beautiful!
Thank you Pamela, I've been wanting to share about Baby for a while but wasn't sure anyone would be interested 🤪. I'll let you know in the next video which project I decided to work on next. Xo
Ah cool, it's a hidden spine as well! I create Junk Journals by myself and have a KZread chanel but this is new to me. Thanks for sharing! ❤
You're welcome. Thanks for watching 🌸
Gorgeous ❤, on page 3, bottom left, I've done a needlepoint tapestry of the lady with the wimple. This is the only time I've ever seen another picture of her. Much love, happy crafting 🇭🇲💖
Oh wow, that sounds lovely!
While I am always all about botanicals, and the purples in the tags & etc. (<3), I have to say I would love to see you do the document folder. It's such a unique piece, and your journal genius would do wonders with those original envelopes!
Thank you my friend, I can't wait to start! xo
The black document folder is my vote. Debbie it is good to see you back. It was inspiration from you years ago that started my own junk journal adventure. I have several of your digital kits and just completed and a journal where I used your Gentleman and Scholars and Vagabond Voyage digitals. Loved hearing the story of how Baby came to live with you.i love his coloring!
Thank you so much, I will have to go poke around to see if you posted that one, I love seeing how my digis are used! It's a tie right between to 2 projects 🤪. Thanks for your sweet words xo.
I have a flip through post on my KZread. I think I called it Steampunk/Masculine journal.
Botanical looks gorgeous and I personally will watch any video you put out for us. The ‘perfect polished edited no mistakes type videos’ intimidate me and I feel you should do videos that you enjoy don’t stress about editing them!We are here for you, your time and your videos. I love Baby’s story. TFS!😊 welcome back ❤
Awe thanks, that's so reassuring. I just know that in this chapter of my life, I can't afford the many extra hours of editing and promoting on social media etc. It's a bit much. I just want to play and I'm grateful if my crafty friends want to join me! 🌸❤️🌼
Readers Digest please.🌺
Ooo it's a tie right now. Stay tuned! Thanks ❤️
I loved hearing about how Baby became part of your family! And I apologize…but the fact that he bit your mother-in-law…who doesn’t find that so hilariously rewarding at times?!!🤣🤣🤣 I love seeing all of your beautiful papers and vintage goodies! 🥰 Love the Reders Digest books! But I’d love to see how a journal from the black folder would turn out! So neat! Love seeing you Debbie! So glad you are back! 🥰❤️❤️❤️
It's great to be back with you! Thanks for your vote, the folder is pretty neat. Hahaha I'm very lucky to have the sweetest mom-in-law so I felt bad but she loves birds and has budgies of her own and thought there was no harm in trying to visit Baby out of cage. NOT! LOL. They are best buddies now fortunately and she spoils him through the bars of the cage 😄🤣.
Great to have you back. Even though I am not creative anymore I really enjoy your projects. Botanical would be my favorite at this time. I hope to get back to being creative again in the years to come. Just the other day I went through the journals from your hands and still enjoy them as much as the first day. Warm thoughts and love from your friend across the Ocean xoxo Pernille
I was just going through the amazing tags and 3D display you made me years ago, you are so talented. Creativity changes at times when we are in different seasons of life. I do more drawing and mixed media these days, digi designing has taken a backseat. And that's ok! You do what feels right, you'll know what your heart needs. So nice to hear from you my dear far away friend across the miles! ❤️😘❤️
So glad you're back! I hope you do something with the black document folder. It was so interesting to hear the story of Baby. I hope he brings you many days of enjoyment. I also hope you find pleasure in your art and creating more. ❤
Thank you so much Melinda, I'm really happy to be back. The black folder is pretty cool and I have alot of ideas for it 🙂
Botanical seems perfect for this type of year. Baby is adorable. My youngest son had raised tropical birds when he was in junior and high school. My fav was a Goffin cockatoo but he was naughty…. He would chew the buttons off of my tops!! He also did not like anyone with a high voice so we would have to confine him when my nephew & wife were here or he would bite her.
Oh that's funny, they are definitely quirky. Baby is afraid of everything - brooms, vacuum, and colourful socks. And certain songs freak him out lol. It's endless, but hey, I feel like he chose us when he showed up out of nowhere so we're trying to give him a good life. Thanks for your vote, I have so many ideas for both journals 😄❤️.
I am so happy to see you back on KZread. I'm glad you had a break as needed and are coming back on your own terms to create! Creating should always be done for ourselves, in my opinion, because that improves the final result. I vote for the black folder project because it will be an interesting challenge and a bit non-traditional! All of your projects are beautiful, so whichever you choose will turn out lovely.
Hi Dawn, so nice to hear from you. It's true what you said about creativity and I'm certainly feeling that inner pull more than ever after being away. The black folder is pretty cool and I can't wait to play with it. I'm so torn lol! Thank you for being here xo.
beautiful Debbie, Sending Blessings to You , Baby and the family xx Botanical
Thank you my dear. Blessings to you and yours as well ❤️
Great to hear the story of the beautiful Baby.
Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it! 🌸
