Telephoto not a macro. You messed up a little.
There is no in display fingerprint sensor. It's on the power button. This is the only reviewer that made that mistake .
I agree with you that the design is a bit ugly compared to the other Motorola phones especially the camera lens looking like it was stuck on to the body.
I don't know why they had to make it 6.7 inches! Looks like a brick!! :( They should've kept it the same size as the 2023 (witch look much nicer) model. The phone does look out of place with that camera housing though.
They made it 6.7 inches because they wanted to. Big phones are what a majority of consumers want

at 6:20 you mention the phone only supports 1080P 30fps but it does support 60fps as well, you can see 30fps is selected at 6:20 on the display you just have to click that to toggle 60fps (I own the phone as well), also stabilization is still enabled in 60fps mode which is a bonus, with my previous Stylus 5G 2021 it only allowed stabilization in 30fps mode.
Each phone manufacturer needs a few lower end to upper end budget phones to round out their lineups. I think the Moto G Power 2024 is one of those types of phones for Motorola. I also judge phones based off of average user reviews. Go to any carrier who has this phone and the bulk of the reviews on this device are positive. Then, compare that to similarly priced phones like Samsung’s A series like the A15 or A25. Samsung’s phones will have the better displays but the Moto G Power 24 will beat them in overall performance. Even big tech websites like CNet gave the G Power this year a mostly positive review. Overall, I think it’s a solid device for the price.
Here's the thing the G power is a great phone if you find a good deal on it. I had the 2020 and 2021 models and while they weren't flagship, they were very reliable and a fun experience. I definitely agree the G stylus this year is a much better option though. Better display, cameras and overall design.

I can't stand people who harshly criticize a BUDGET phone. For the cheap price this phone is fire. Most users including myself appreciate how far Samsung went to make a phone so affordable and decent. If you want to criticize a phone relative to it's price go for the flip phones that are expensive AF and still have so many limitations. When I'm expected to pay $1000+ for a phone I expect there to be no more than a single shortcoming. If this phone had a snapdragon chipset, better panel, 6gb ram it would no longer be an entry level phone which would defeat the entire purpose of producing it. The only unjustified gripe that I have with this device is that lump by the fingerprint scanner. Technology has improved greatly from 10 years ago. Where would you find an entry level phone with fingerprint reader, fast charging, 5000 mah battery, amoled panel 6.5 inch screen for only $199 10 years ago?
How do I activate the voice focus app on Samsung A54 I had it but when I did software update it disappeared

I loved my old Celero phone. I freaking love big screens! Even my tablets have to be at 12 to 13 in. Safari did shut off randomly by itself. I hate android phones with a passion. My Celero was my first android phone. I now have the Moto 5g with the stylus. I just wanted something I can draw on. I really want this Celero I wanted it since it came out. My phone service is boost no problem there. I just got the phone I have now 3 months ago. The Celero is $50 on sale at the moment so I might get it for my future phone.
Waiting for boost mobile to get the 2024 model hopefully they do.
Sadly Motorola removed the Google screening calls feature.
Not enough tech for me, I see this being a phone for someone who is ready for a smart phone but one that is not so tech. Motorola makes great phones for those who need quality performance from time to time but if you need something that makes your life easier to mange I would recommend anyone who doesn't want to spend more than 300 dollars max on something a bit more tech loaded I would recommend the a55 and s24 samsung makes. I have the Samsung a25 5g and I am amazed with what I can do and the camera quality is just boss.
I have this phone. I actually got it when Boost Mobile was offering this for free when you switch from another network. However, my experience of this phone is not worth paying for it. Before this phone I had an iPhone 11 (another phone I dislike). Now comparing this to an iPhone is a no contest. Clearly the iPhone is light years better. So I have to compare this to my Samsung which is another phone I have. And my Samsung was also free with T-Mobile at the time and I can tell you the stupid Samsung is better than this phone. This Motorola is completely buggy and it just cannot handle the stress of apps. I even went to replace the phone 5 times and all of them are the same. They are buggy, slow, laggy and annoying. You cannot hold a lot of apps on the phone without it being slow. I can't even play games on the phone because it's so slow. The only good thing about this phone is if your broke then it's something to have but even when I doordash, I have to turn on the hotspot to use my Samsung just to be able to watch videos or listen to audiobooks. So it get a 2 out of 10 for me. I say 2 because the pen is nice to have.

Interesting that you say this is arguably the best (budget $400) phone of the year. Expensive budget phone I think. So even with Motorolas lousy record of updates compared to Samsung A35 with its 4/5 year updates you think it’s still a better phone? I have a Samsung A34, would you recommend I trade it in for this new 2024 Moto G Stylus ?

I'd go with the Moto, here. The 8A is just too small. Plus it is $100 more. It has no stylus, in addition. It may have better cameras, but when the screen is too small to see the picture details, what good is it?
I am just waiting for the price to come down a bit right now Cricket wants $229 plus the $60 plan. Nope not me. I will not pay that when it is locked to a carrier. Metro has it for Free with a $70 Metro Flex Plan. I like Cricket so I will wait.
As far as pre paid being overpriced, yes, but it does prevent me from having some huge unexpected bills like my brother recently got on his phone bill. He let his daughter use his phone for a few weeks while she visited her mom, and then a month later he got a bill from Verizon for over $2000 for data overage. With my prepaid carrier, if I go over a certain amount of data, the worst that happens is it shuts it down and I have to start using wifi until it resets the next month.

So the Moto has a better processor,SD card,3.5m headphone jack,pen,FM radio without Internet,moto gestures, pure android experience too,fast charging,camera is amazing! So for $399 this phone is 100 % better than the exyn....sorry Tensor slow PX 8a

Charging for me is slow, only bought yesterday, didn't come with a adapter for standard charging blocks, or a charging block. Bought a cable for standard charging block. But charging aside, it loses charge quickly, that has nothing to do with dollar store cable. And yes I have fast charging set, was already set. I need a 3 amp charging block haven't found one yet, mine are 2 amp. I have a Samsung A10s that charges very fast

If you leave the the display brightness on auto it adjusts accordingly to the light you are in.
There is a security account you need to remember that also allows you to get into a samsung device later and it is a built in security system by a company called knox. What this system does is fix things adjusts if you didnt turn the auto settings off and the knox security system also removes things in your phone like old numbers you called or they called you, text messages which that is storage junk that slows the functionality of the phone.
