I got the 2024 a few days ago and couldnt be happier.

I have the 2023 model, only reason im passing on the 2024 is because of the same processor. My 2023 still holds its own

Same processor, $500 CAD w/same old lackluster support, and a $200 CAD discount on the 2023 model, are some of my main reasons for me not throwing the Moto G Stylus 5G (2023) to the curb quite yet. Yup holding its own quite well for me too. But, once Motorola discounts the 2024 model we just may be awfully tempted LOL.

Even with the lack of longer term software support, the 2024 Moto G Stylus is worth the price just because of all the upgrades. Do I wish they’d have committed to at least 3 OS and 5 years of security updates? Yes. But even at 3 years of security updates, if you do the math it’s still decent for what you’re getting. Hopefully next year’s model will get much more on updates

@@Trelitzahit I agree they could have used an upgraded processor. But that would’ve likely made the price increased. So with all the other upgrades, I’m ok with the 6 gen 1.

@@wgwrigel1 the consensus is the Moto G Stylus 5g 2024 is a great phone. RAM makes a huge difference in performance too. People say the Moto G Power this year also is faster on performance due to an increase from 6 to 8 GB of RAM.

To me the brighter Amoled screen, the 3.5mm headphone jack, increased memory and larger screen size, and the fantastic price on this 2024 stylus more than makes up for less than wanted support and the less than newer processor - the trade offs for what you’re getting is well worth it. I have a 2020 moto g stylus and it works like a champ and I bought it new in 2020 for $300 - it’s hard to beat Motorola for value for the dollar.

I had the 2023 model and while I enjoyed it, the 2024 Stylus looks better in every way. I like the sleek design, OLED screen, thinner bezels, and the new Hello UX on this year's Stylus. I even like the sharp caramel color. And depending on where you get it, you can get an excellent deal on it if you are okay with 128 GB of storage on carriers. I'm likely getting this phone and leaving iOS when I can.

My phone is Moto G Stylus 5G 2023, but the 2024 model is so upgraded that there is a big difference. The 2024 model is almost perfect. If only the chip were Snapdragon 7 Generation 3, it would be 100%, but that's a bit disappointing. It's very bad that Motorola updates the Android version. Monthly updates are not bad as they are done once every two or three months. My phone is Moto G Stylus 5G 2023 and it has the monthly update for May.

Waiting for boost mobile to get the 2024 model hopefully they do.

Tech titan yes it without a doubt only problem I have is software updates that Motorola isn't good with. At all. I was going to get for a secondary phone. But I currently have Samsung a35 that's my daily driver and I love it but for the price moto g stylus 2024 even the moto edge 2024 is a steal as well for 299 but I rather continue to stay with a35 Samsung destroys moto...when it comes to updates but I will still stay with a35. Is it really the 2024 Moto G Stylus supports 4k video, bcause on the official site says up to 1080p/60fps. Also, if indeed supports 4k, does the eis works on that resolution, or only on 1080p ??

Also 8gb ram plus up to 8gb ram boost so it's up to 16gb ram

my S21FE is slowly dying. The latest update killed it. Im thinking about the 2024 5G Stylus.

Motorola Android updates suck. Other than that it's a good phone

I had the 2023 version but the screen alone on the 2024 is enough to upgrade

Then they woykd have had to bring up the price of the phone.... They did the right thing by just IMPROVING the ram size and speed. It's just fine where it is.

Got the 2024 version today and I'm coming from the 2022 version. This 2024 is a bit shorter than the 2022 version. That's the only issue I have with the 2024 was well worth the wait

Yeah I know what you mean about the size of the phone. But I think that 6.9 inches SHOULD be the standard for a phone that has a stylus.

I can believe they didn't offer a black color for the 2024 model! It's the one thing that made me pass on the phone. The G Power 2024 has a better processor than the Stylus 2024. I'm probably going to go with that over the Stylus just because it's a dark color! LOL
