Learning to make stuff

I enjoy doing manual activities such as small woodworking, leather working and restoration projects.
I like to learn new skills, face new challenges and develope my creativity.
I started filming with the hope to inspire you and I wish you can get relaxed watching my videos.
My goal is to make my projects with a minimal use of power tools, to convey you the same sense of peacefulness I felt while making it.

If you like my videos you can help the channel grow by subscribing, liking and sharing the videos, or buying me a coffee.

    This hammer would make a nice walllhanger, but not too useable with all that finishing material on the handle. The first thing any experience mechanic would do is to use sandpapr and remove all the finish from the handle down to bare wood. Much better grip that way.

    Thank you very much for the kind comment. I write "make it cool" when I dye or varnish a tool, what I used is a simple concentrated water-based wood stain. it is a product of Veleca, an Italian paint company that makes excellent products that I use a lot (I am not sponsored). Any dye available in your country will definitely work. I also thank you for your support of the channel and I hope you will enjoy the other contents.

    Thanks, many restorers go for impressive looking projects often to showcase their expensive tools and worskshops. I'm probably never going to restore an 1804 oak dresser, but I do need to fix some of my hammers.

  • @LTMS
    @LTMSАй бұрын

    Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Now I have a few more tools, but when I restored this hammer I only had the drill and the dremel, but it doesn't matter because I've learned a lesson: "do the best you can with what you have". And about the dresser... don't limit yourself, you can always learn how to restore it.
