Based on the limitations of the original source material, the applied digital improvement process includes uneven edges removal, brightness/contrast optimization, video noise minimization, aspect ratio correction, volume normalization, audio noise reduction and equalization. Even though my improved videos are not perfect, they are much more enjoyable than the original ones.
Because the videos I upload were produced decades ago, they have historical values and can be considered as valuable historical documents. They are shown strictly for educational purposes. Check the video description for historical background.

Funny how it shows war disrupting basically everything. It could be argued that the US had war as a part of its economy since World War 2. There's never been a return to a pre war economy. Sure some defense spending is needed, but we've allowed the Military Industrial Complex to set the agenda. Didn't listen to the warning from Eisenhower. Actually, from what I can see almost everything in this cartoon has been undermined. Right to own property... Blackrock is buying up housing like crazy. Saving money in a reasonable banking system... bankers gamble with our money. Companies now operate solely to own and then sell off companies as opposed to make better products and services. If one opens a business and it becomes successful you're still only middle class. If you run a business that swallows up other businesses, exploits loopholes, buys off politicians and or regulators, and then sells off any businesses for profit, then you're among the elites.

Such a film released today would be deemed overly 'political' and divisive. Mainly from the very sources that seek to divide.
I wonder: They called this "how to recognize enemy propaganda" and i believe the people were not so stupid to not see that this is "friendly propaganda", so the "honesty" in the title (that this is not about "friendly propaganda") would get a favorably looked at. besides the subtext, the main text is the same theme: the information you get fed is biased or just so narrow that it´s intent is to guide the receiver´s decisions and beliefs. showing the worst about the enemy and the best about the allies or selves is just such an easy way to distract people from the "big picture". Edit:(didnt realize until the end they called themself [the show] the "big picture"; clever.) seeing the big picture is nearly impossible for an individual in todays world, yet there is no real attempt to show it either. it is "your own resposibility" while there are big influencal aspects that try to hinder you in that, for their benefit. I wonder if individuals are really not capable of being good enough to have the wish and execute on the wish to work for each other and each others benefits. it is the only way i can see for humanity to prosper to not cancel parts of life or human behaivour but to deal with it in a adequate way.

It's interesting how this video makes out all the German people as parts of an evil organization, knowing they were committing atrocities, and making them lying, bloodthirsty monsters. Many of the Germans thought they were doing the right thing based on what they knew. Although made in good conscience with the intention of bringing peace, I think it's important to note that this video drastically dehumanizes and villifies an entire race of people in order to support a cause.
