  My refrigerator does not have the opening at the back as indicated in all the videos. Instead, it came with a little plastic box with vents that I presume you put somewhere because it has suction cups for such an expensive fridge. Has anybody used one of these? I’m just gonna stick it on the interior wall somewhere.

  Shitty product. Stupid solution suggestion. Everyone with an IQ higher than 10 can think of trying swiping up. The problem is that, after a power outage, nothing works. Swiping up, resetting by turning the circuit breaker off for minutes...Nothing works. You have to change the screen panel. Such a low-quality, such a flimsy product. Will never buy Whirlpool again.

  I work in industrial engineering. My girlfriend send me some photos and I had to look it up. The fact that the consumer needs needle nose pliers to install and remove this shelf has got to be the dumbest thing I have ever seen…ever. I’ve seen many things. I’m kind of pissed I’ll never forget this. I’ll be thinking about it every single time I go to Best Buy or Home Depot and buy something that isn’t whirlpool.

  Dear Whirlpool, I think you need to change the location of the filter on every separate model you have and hide the model numbers to make it impossible to change. You suck. Your fridges suck. The corporate whores do a great job but that doesn't change the fact that you suck.

  The boot on my started collecting water and not draining fully. I was lucky enough to have a little wet/dry vac, which I ran carefully inside the boot and over its drainage holes. My wife also gave them an extra cleaning with a Q-Tip. All good and everything drains like it should again. BTW, remember to also check the washer lint trap/filter occasionally. That's a separate, but related task.

  ALSO...Whirlpool put the filter ON THE FLOOR of the unit. No kidding. When you change the filter, you have to get on you hands and knees and pull the filter out from under the refrigerator. Whirlpool HATES THEIR CUSTOMERS. No way to reach customer service. There is NO CUSTOMER SERVICE NUMBER.

  DO NOT BUY A WHIRLPOOL with this feature. Don't do it. The video makes it look easy. Far from it. I've got to find a way now to mod the freezer shelf system.

  This is the biggest PIECE OF GARBAGE design feature. Whirlpool hates their customers. Pulling shelves out of the freezer takes forever! It's a royal pain. If I would have known this, I never would have bought mine. TRUST ME....DO NOT BUY A WHIRLPOOL with these shelf systems. Oh, and let me tell you, they have NO ( NONE) (ZERO) Customer service. They want you to call your local tech. I've been fighting my shelves ALL AFTERNOON, and STILL can't get them back in.
