Such a shame that he always badmouths his brother. It is cheap. I love M. Schenker's music. However the Scorpions without M. Schenker wrote wrote much better songs. There is a reason why the Scorpions are such a brand. R. Schenker is such a classier act. He always says, "I have nothing but love for my brother."

I love Michael Schenker, he is up there with my all time favorite electric guitarists, and rock and roll personalities .. having said that, geesh, Michael, the BS about your brother - if you were truly happy with your career and music, you would NOT be saying this and harping on it .. EVERYTHING you have experienced in your life has lead you to this point - and that includes all the dealings with Rudy and The Scorpions .. That road has lead to to this point - as one of the greatest of all time .. If things were unfair at times, that is what fueled you to get to this point ... As with anything in life, you either choose to live as the victim, or, you turn and thank the obstacles for making you who you are ... I love this guy, and I guess that cantankerous side is also part of what makes him so good but all of his talk of spirituality and enlightenment rings hollow when you won't shut up about your brother .. and stop making it seem as if you never chased a buck - go and watch some of those videos you did with Robin in the later 80s ...

This man onstage tone is like a vuntage guitar expert! nailed the vintage tones live in almost every song the playing however is almost completely different from G.T., so it gets so used to.. still, what a blessing to have him working with Rob, Ian, Scott, and very well studio & live combo two guitars with Richie!

I like his riffs and overall rhythm playing, but his leads leave a lot to be desired, and he even attested to that. How he can be such a solid rhythm guitarist and a shitty lead guitarist at the same time is an interesting juxtaposition.

He’s fibbing…Micheal Shenkers all over the Lovedrive album. Shenker had just left UFO off Strangers in the night, does that album ring a bell. He was the number 1 metal player in that period, hands down. Lovedrive , That’s the album that caught the ears of metal fans, so there you go. Thanks for playing Matty

I used to drive all over in the late 80's early 90's with Diamond Head tapes in my 70 Mustang with my friends. Much mayhem was had with Diamond Head as the sound track.. I love his playing style. Just genius.
