I used to drive all over in the late 80's early 90's with Diamond Head tapes in my 70 Mustang with my friends. Much mayhem was had with Diamond Head as the sound track.. I love his playing style. Just genius.

Don’t think Brian realises how different and influential diamond head were. What a lovely humble man he is..

Brian is one of the very best guitar players to ever pick up an axe, not enough is said about him, admit it too, he out did his idols, because LTN, the album, got to the next level of darkness.

Great to hear Brian talk. Top bloke. Bought the original “lightning to the nations “ mail order from DHM music back in the day. Still have it and one of my favourites.

Please, please, please give us players the secrets behind that Godly tone on "Canterbury"...any of the solos, and especially those bonkers chords on the actual track "Canterbury"...PLEASE, BRIAN✌❤

I agree. That song is so amazing. The whole album gets ignored way too much.

I'd just like a whole damn documentary on that album, just an incredible change from the previous 2

The V style guitar is the best guitar for posture both sitting and standing.... I prefer the King V of Jackson, because I like the pointiness.... but the channel name earned you an instant subscribe.... this is quite the autistic special interest.

The irony of it is that Brian offered to sell me that white V decades ago for 250 quid - sadly i declined ... He lent me his JD custom for a while though .... Shortly before the "rock star jump leads" tour ......

My band (the Bitters from Las Vegas) opened for Diamond Head in a little club about ten years ago... he was the only remaining original member, but DH were still great to see & hear.

Brian has a lovely, laid-back manner and unnecessarily humble about his talent. The musical break between each bit of speaking is tiresome though...

There it is. 13:45 He'll play it for the England crowd but nobody else. And I'm not coming to your show then. That's like Metallica not playing the Explorer, and KH models. You bring out other models just because you're in another country that's not fair to the fans man. Imagine Michael Schenker using that excuse. you bring the V!!!!!

Um, so in case you missed it he's talking about the guitar he's had for decades and yeah, you don't bring that stuff on a plane. If you don't wanna see him because he's using Les Pauls primarily now, I dunno, I guess that's your loss and you're also sort of a freaking idiot.

PS - we got to open for Diamond Head awhile back and he played through my JCM800 50 watt head and full stack, and sounded magnificent. I also got to open for Schenker and got a picture of my 1982 Dean ML on a stand next to his guitars backstage - both of which were major thrills. Either of these guys could pick up a Daisy Rock Telecaster and kill, and I would be there 1000% for it either way. PS - I also own a '76 Ibanez Rocket Roll, which I find only works in some sonic circumstances. Great player, but not the right one for most applications.
