Good question, I do sometimes feel it like that. Especially considering the moon is in what they call her detriment or debilitation as some also describe it. But the idea that our moon sign represents our inner world and what we tend to default to, it's a type of vice or lack of moving out of our comfort zone trapped that I'm also referring to. What is your moon sign in? And how does it feel for you?

So true! I'm a Capricorn sun, I'm 54 now and all my life I heard people saying I didn't seem like one! Just happens I'm Cancer rising, so moon is the regent of my chart, and my Moon is in Sagg. I'm so much like a Sagitarius as I can be! And I was born at night, in a dark moon, with stellium in scorpio. Moon is top notch for me. Thank you for this.😊

All great questions indeed. I feel like the control mechanism is the prefrontal cortex. I've often heard the left brain to correlated to the egoic reptilian brain. And the right brain to be connected directly to the heart brain. The programming of the human brain in general is un undeniably possible and scary reality as a result of repetitive symbol/word spell exposure. Which explains why the English language is so deceptive

Sun, Moon and Ascendant are important. However, in a night chart the Moon has more clout than the Sun. In a day chart it is the Sun more than the Moon. I have a night chart and my Moon sign and position says a lot more about me and is more accurate regarding my internal, private self than the general description of my Sun sign.

Look into the distinction between day charts and night charts. Being born at night emphasizes the personality traits of the moon sign over the sun sign. It also changes the emphasis on planets from the day sect vs the night sect. Mars. Vs Saturn as most challenging and Venus vs Jupiter as the most "positive" planets

A lot of great points raised. Expanding on the patriarchal construct; it's important to discern that while the current academic world was designed by a very specific group of males, namely, European/white males, so has the entire world as we now know it. Healthcare (medicine), trade (business), law, travel, food, language/communication.. anything you can name. No place on Earth has been untouched by the "white man".
