Agree, this lack of effort made me shake my head. Fan noise is a huge issue with small lights, and it would take very little to let the light run at 90-100% for a little while just to help us make an informed decision. But no. The reviewer admits that he doesn’t know about the fan noise, as he didn’t check. In my work as a journalist and editor, this would have never passed for publication.

@@geiranders70 I used this light in a real world scenario, not a fictitious one where I need to crank a 200W light at 100% output indoors for no reason lol. I only ever needed 7-12% indoors. That speaks to how bright this light is.

The Nex 6 does better with the viewfinder resolution (2359k dot as against 1440k dot). On the other hand, the a6000 has more focus points (179 vs 99), better max resolution (24 megapixels vs 16 megapixels), is NFC enabled and can be controlled using a smartphone.
I mean, it goes the other way around too. Would you have a camera, a cordless telephone, a music player,… with you all the time or just a slim brick like device that does it all

Hey i just got an a6000 last week haha
This video never went anywhere with his point. He ended up comparing both in the end. The two shouldn’t be compared. Instead, your dedicated camera should complement and should complete your creative process. People like having a dedicated camera because it’s more fun to shoot - there’s some level of control over those photos that a smartphone may not have. However, people use the smartphone to edit and upload their photos from their dedicated cameras to Instagram or whatever platform. On the other hand, one camera allows you to take photos of your family on quick, precious moments that fly by without having to worry about taking a lens cap off and finagling with manual shooting settings. For some, the iPhone is all they need. That’s why they pick the best available smartphone camera that they can get their hands on, and that’s okay too.
I loved the idiosyncratic design and twin jog wheels,I thought the video was incredible and sound,24mm Zeiss lens was good but I traded mine in because it regularly overheated allied to poor battery life but the battery percentage was a good implement that not many use even to this day

Any camera with an electronic zoom is not suitable for street photography. You either need a fixed lens or a manual zoom to quickly frame your shots. I had the pancake olympus ez14-42 which was ok but same problem, zoom in/out too slow. I don't understand why manufacturers are not making more compact ergonomic street camera besides fuji.
A7iii has like 8 megapixels and nobody complains
