    @@sparkestudio Hello, I am looking for speakers that support the Focusrite Vocaster Two USB-C. I have a very important question: do I need the Focusrite Vocaster Two, or can I buy the first one? I wanted to share with you the equipment I am using for my KZread channel and the items I'm planning to purchase. I started with an iPhone 11, then upgraded to the S24 and later to the Canon T100. However, the camera broke, so I switched to the Canon 50 Mark 2, which is what I'm currently using. My friend bought a cable, the XLR, and now I need to purchase the Focusrite Vocaster Two USB-C, followed by the Elgato Stream Deck Mini. The Stream Deck Mini helps me control Zoom, Teams, PowerPoint, MS Office, and more. It's compatible with both Mac and PC and makes setting up shortcuts easy. I would appreciate your thoughts on these items. Additionally, I just wanted to mention that I find your videos really entertaining, and even though I start coughing because I have asthma, I can't help but laugh out loud. I admire your work, and while I'm currently focused on gaming content, I aspire to create videos like yours in the future. Thank you for the advice, and have a great day. I'm a regular viewer of your videos and your live streams.

    great video! Any chance you can review/analyze the Ulanzi Video Fast Heavy Duty Tripod? Its at around the same price of the Smallrig Freeblazer BUT provides additional features at the price of the more expensive Free blazer option. I'm also wondering who else makes that Neewer Fluid Head. There's a few companies doing these kinds of heavy duty but cheap tripods. These include Ulanzi Video Fast (mentioned earlier), YC Onion Pineta Peak, SCG T8, E-Image GH06. I've seen that the SCG T8 also has a substantial construction so maybe that Neewer unit is a carbon/replica of the SCG version? Curious to your thoughts on that.

    The range on this unit sounds very low. "not very crisp" is the best way to describe it. Not a deal breaker, but as soon as you get over $80 CAD, I expect better. It is aesthetically pleasing, so that does count for a bit and coming with a desk mount is actually quite nice to see.

    I wrote Hollyland support before, one issue would be how slow they are to respond. If you want to know bad service you should check out Gigabyte and their cracked GPU PCB's being big on certain high end GPUs and they deny warranty. Asus and the huge issue of trying to charge customers for unrelated stuff. Gamers Nexus has done videos on both. Companies are getting away with ridiculous things these days. Back to Hollyland, the major issue I have seen is the units not turning off when placed in the charging case, it's not everyone but some people. For me an issue I had which I state on my part 2 long term experience video on the Lark Max is both mics turning on when the one only is removed BUT for me is fixed in the newest firmware. Sony, check out all the issues and complains and lack of support in the new cameras and what Sony has done with the latest firmware and the battery warning and how it knocks out peoples recordings. Tech companies are getting away with things they shouldn't and it's got stop or it'll only get worse.

    One of the primary functions of a matte box is to insert filters rather than screw on round filters to the front of the matte box because you can't really reach to operate them properly in a professional setting. Use the Freewell without a matte box and it's fantastic. But... I just tested my SmallRig compact matte box and the Freewell V2 mounting ring DOES fit on the 82mm mounting ring and the magnetic half does fit in there. It works ok but I was unable to tighten the screw(s) to secure it. Sure it works if I were really in a jam and needed to shade the lens, using only that VND and didn't have a filter insert for the matte box like they're designed. Definitely not ideal but that's not Freewell's fault. I was also wondering why you were screwing on the front magnetic portion of the Freewell to the mounting ring? It just pops on with the magnet, then you tighten the side screw to secure it. I actually only use 1 screw since it's much faster to swap on and off and to rotate it for... BONUS! Did you realize you can turn the whole filter to get a circular polarizer effect?? 2 filters in 1! Or even more when you consider the variable ND range.

  • @sparkestudio

This was to state the negatives not how to use it but I dislike stating negatives alone so I wanted to say some of the good before returning it. All the type with zero negatives in any review was annoying me cause nobody was stating what could be a concern to consider. I wasn't at all happy, it rains about 170 days of the year where I live and a VND/CPL is for outside work. I reviewed 2 different CPL / VND in one filters without issue in my particular smallrig matte box and both have a lens hood that fits but more than anything the lens cap was the best option. Didn't you notice the freewell attracts dust like magnetic to dust? My filter also scratched very very easily unless you always use only their included cleaning cloth or a very soft cleaning cloth. There was no reason for house dust and Ziese lens wipes to scratch my filter but it did. I love the color accuracy of the freewell but the K&F true color is also accurate and is less than half the price BUT is 1-5 VND not the 3-7. The freewell color accuracy is totally superior to the Haida Pro ii and Freewell seemed to have an HD coating? It enhanced the grain of my Fujifilm X-S20 camera. For a regular person using the freewell without protection I don't think it is a good choice for long term use. For a production it's replaceable without hurting too much.

I almost purchased the NiSi but the CPL is HUGE it takes back the contrast in sunlight and removes haze in the distance.

  • @sparkestudio
    @sparkestudioАй бұрын

    There is a way but you need to have an apple certified adapter to 3.5mm than simply use a Trrs to TRS cable like any wireless microphone system cable labeled as "smartphone". For example you would see that cable on my review of the comica boom-X D2 or the pro version. Many of the affordable of the mic systems I have reviewed have the cable... The TRRS side goes to the iphone 3.5mm adapter side

    Thank you. Sadly I won't be too much help being that I only own the Maono C2 Neo still. For starters if you are wondering if the computer is detecting it or not all you do is go to settings and audio. If it is connected to PC it'll show up as an audio device. One easy mistake to make is if your audio from PC volume is turned down or silent it is going to record to the device as silent

    I actually did right after I rushed to do the audio testing. Took it out audio got crazy hiss and put it back not knowing what happened... And left it back on to show it on. This was the 3rd review video in one day plus my parents where here from out of town. Seriously rushed before I left to work for 2 weeks. Looking to revisit and compare with other mics when I have time, I have 2 KZread channels and only have 6 days home and back to work for 2 weeks out of town again. I didn't notice any difference on or off but other than either the cable connection was bad or something odd when I removed it. Fioboc tech clothing, and all other reviews on my tech channel were obligations I had to get done for companies.... Why Did I rush rather than hold off? I have a mechanical keyboard to review when I get back, an actor I work with on days off for a contest, my new fluid head and have to re make my camera shoulder mount review properly and have batteries being sent for review on my tech channel. You have no idea how busy I am.

    Audio technica AT4040 has better low and high response compared to the AT2035. for low cost the Presonus PX1 is impressive. I reviewed those other mic's BUT the Presonus was one of my first videos on this channel. I used it mainly for cartoon characters and advertising voices.

    @@MateuszHabowski The NTG does go louder but has more hiss. Keep in mind the NTG distorts audio super Easily in loudish environments and you are going to want to use the negative DB pad on it to prevent the bad SPL that sounds like like clipping, it's just crap sound pressure level. NTG is the easier of the 2 for outside work but I recorded my safety video using the MKE600 for LNG Canada and won first place. The NTG sounded like garbage on that industrial site.

    True and you are correct. I DON'T use the word stereo for accuracy. It is to help with search for people that are confused and simply want their audio playing thru both speakers rather than saying 2 speaker mono. I expressed it stereo in the sense of left and right speakers. Simple for even little kids or someone that knows nothing about audio to grasp. If someone is an audio expert and doesn't understand this concept for themselves and is going for a Scarlett interface we have bigger problems :p.
