@@SimRacersArms I think the first downhill part is always fun but I usually struggle a bit for pace around this track everywhere else, gotta practice it I guess 😅

My lap was a single lap from when tt boards were reset. I have no clutch currently. When I do I will try beat hampti or whoever is on top. 1.29.9 in 3 laps no setup. tragoul here. yes technically cheating using auto clutch.
Hey 👋 I don't think the auto clutch in this case is cheating as I think auto clutch on an 'older' manual car is slower than manual shifting. Can't wait to see your next attempt/lap times 👍🏁

A great learning experience for me, the next "noobz" championship looks like it will be front wheel drive. Got within a few hundredths of you at 1:30.990, but I know you can go a lot faster than that with some more laps. Let us not talk about how many laps it took to get me that time - it was not 3! 😀

@@SimRacersArms The corner at the end of the long straight, that was very tricky to get right consistently.

@@SimRacersArms yes leg feels much better thank u on Friday had no issues at all I was braking earlier so not doing intense hard braking being cautious but still getting decent lap times not had chance to do 3 lap challenge yet but I will
@@darrenwhitehouse7665 whilst doing 'earlier' braking you could practice lift & coasting for those times you may need to preserve fuel.

Just managed to have a go at this challenge if im totally honest lol 😮 i couldn't get a valid lap at first went well past 3 lap challenge untill i understood this car and track combo this is bloody good fun so my first time was i managed to set was 2.19.204 then a better time of 2.17.899 putting me one place in front if you Matt on leaderboard

Oh my! What an amazing track! I have never driven that particular layout before and those long sweeping infield turns feel amazing in this car. 2:22.657 for me. And that was with a lot more than 3 laps! Very nice combo though. The Randomiser done good!
Great fun and an old favourite of some of the gang. What was the most challenging thing in this combo for you? 🤔
@@SimRacersArms The tighter infield corners were the trickiest for me: so difficult to keep it pointing in the right direction whilst accelerating out of them.
@@NonnyRat yep, that's what catching me out. The slow corner/very limited grip makes you appreciate the high speed ground effect down force 💪 What was your favourite part of the combo? 🤔
I tried this set up and I'm keeping 99% of it! It's definitely an improvement on my previous set up One thing I couldn't handle though was the reduced steering that you dial in, Matt. I can't be doing with the madly twirling arms in VR! 😅
Really glad it worked for you 👍 Keep an eye on the custom files that will be updated to work for V1.6 coming to AMS2 in the next few weeks - I tried one of them but still prefered the file shown in this video 😉

Only just done this challenge in laps got 1.33.854 then best time I managed was a 1.33.400 currently putting me in 3rd on leaderboard

I did an all Ginetta 32 grid from the back - a lot of fun into some of the braking zones 👍🏁
In 3 laps got 49.380 the best is 48.805 putting me at second position on TT board Cody put a great time in

@@SimRacersArms oh u know I'm allowed the excuse of VR and sweat running down my face lol in all honesty I found the hardest part was last chicane keeping enough speed up to turn it in and feather throttle to keep traction quite a few times I got quicker times but lost it all at that last chicane

@@SimRacersArms For me (as always) it was mostly the braking that i really struggled with I got cooled down and managed to get a 48:297 but i would not be surprised if someone got into the 47s 😉

Phew. As usual, I could not compete with just 3 laps - did not even set a time! A lot of laps later, still only 1:10.740 and could not see where I would get more than a few tenths improvement on that. 😀 Fun though, I do like that track.

@@SimRacersArms I could not get the entry to the first and second corners to feel right and I guess that is where I was losing time - particularly the first one, as it is followed by the long straight, so lose just a tiny bit of speed on the exit and you lose time all the way down the straight.

@@SimRacersArms Nice car generally, and I do like that track overall - fast, sweeping turns. Not sure if it is intentional, but I prefer the white lines across the whole track to judge braking points (as opposed to looking at boards beside the track - which often do not last the whole race :) ).
Ok just had a shuftie at this combi in 3 laps i got 1.10.138 then had a tinker and got 1.09.535 putting me in 4th place as i write this one place behind u Matt

So I just bought the loexz xgt pro for gt2 gt3 and gt4 racing so I cannot wait to play automibilista and acc with it! Best part is that it works out of the box with the dd+ no need for the wire like other leoxz wheels. The pins are the same as fanatec now when choosing the qr2 for this one. Pretty cool right? All settings can be accessed through the base and can even be used with ps5 out of the box since the ps chip is in the base not the wheel. I think it's a massive plus to see wheels like this coming out for fanatec. It's also one of the nicer gt wheels you can buy imo on the market. It's like an iograded gt neo. It's an all alu back plate with cf paddles and a full cf front plate withe grest buttons and feel. Also the grips seem to be perfect. It's a 295mm wheel.
I will be taking a look & your right about having more choice to go on Fanatec bases 👍 Did you try your hand at this combo ?🤔
