I use this phone since 2022 and since middel of 2023 the phone has started to have a lot of problems, the cam was bad in the beginning and now it wont work at all. The phone often loose connection to the sim card and every update takes 1gb download and 40 min for installing. Support is bad and I wouldn't recomend the phone to anyone.

My friend and I bought these phones 2+ years ago. We got them for $150 each with android. He's still daily driving his, I set mine aside, the camera is abysmal which I needed at the time to scan bills into an app. If they built a true midrange phone with the same features as this, I'd tell them to take my money..* told them so on their forum.

Yep. I have the same question. It's impossible to turn it on with lid closed.

@@Antipiglet There are BIOS settings to allow you to have it for example turn on when AC power is plugged in. With Dell models it can also turn on when a Dell dock is connected too.

KVMs are a gamechanger. I love my setup with the gravity vertical stand, but I have to fiddle with the USBs sometimes and it's a pain because to fiddle with because the mechanism will stick. I think this stand, just the way you have it configured will solve that issue. Sorry, I know this is an old video lol.

The cool phones could not keep up and stay cool. It was either become a boring slab or become unprofitable. I wish they had done something to preserve both their style and remain profitable. Something in the software side.

The guardians tapes do have a side b label, but it is hidden in the copyright info on the unlabelled side, took me a while to see it. A small side A and side B would've been nice.

My awesome mix volume 1 and 2 play a bit too fast (1 semitone) on my tape deck, but other tapes sound normal (maybe slightly out of tune if you play close attention, but barely if at all noticeable).

Seems like you got lucky purchasing it last year for $100 cheaper because the /e/OS Foundation's Teracube 2e with /e/OS pre-installed is now $329US.

mine connected to 4g for about 5 seconds and that's the end of my connection. I have to use my Huawei googled phone after spending several hundred euros on this terracube 2e... pffft

In the BIOS settings you can set it so it turns on when AC power is connected, or depending on the model it might be able to turn on when connecting to a dock eg Dell

I have a question that nearly everyone that reviews /e/ OS does not answer: is the bootloader unlocked on the phone? I know that if you install it yourself you have to unlock it, but I'm wondering if they are able to lock it to the rom so apps that need SafetyNet run without issues

you can lock bootloader with custom rom only on pixel phones, otherwise brick

ALWAYS go face down. In a perfect world, all the cooling ports should also face away from each other. The hot air should go up, and away from the other laptop. Not trying to critique and thanks for the vid.

I would love a full review of teracube OS. Even with few to no edits. Can it play any games? Call quality? Touch screen feel/sensitivity, camera quality, etc. thanks for your review! It’s the only one out there currently.

Last Time I Bought a Compact Cassette Tape is About a Week ago. I never stopped buying and Recording Audio Compact Cassette Tapes. Been Recording and Playing Tapes Since 1980's till now.

In the BIOS you will have a setting to turn the device on when it is plugged into AC power. So no need to open it each time you want to turn it on

What about browsing speed and call quality and holding a signal. My 8+ holds a call signal well. My Z2 Force, $800 new, cannot. Are the speakers tinny or muffled? Log in to your e.email through Safari. Very nice. Ecloud is simple and not polluted with stuff! I have several Apple and Google devices along with Microsoft computers. Best of luck and thanks for your 2 cents. My Murena smartphone comes in December 2021.

It's pretty good. I'd say iPhone is still better, but the headphone sound quality on the Teracube 2e is good enough for my tastes.

I can't buy a new Fairphone in the US, so the Teracube wins by default. But it's a surprisingly decent phone for the price.
