    My steering wheel, floor and right seat vibrate between 70 and 90 mph. I changed new tires and new rims and the problem persists.I have balanced them about 8 times, the last time they came out 0 with 0, that is perfect and it still does.😢Hard to find good mechanics. Have a great day, thanks for the video.👍

    Hello my question is will the air bubbles still come out even if the cooling system is full? Or does the system need to be empty thanks

    $1000 is pretty cheap considering how many parts are built into that assembly. If you want to see real expensive electronics, try a VW, BMW, or Mercedes. This isn’t a common point of failure either. The comparison to older vehicles is somewhat unfair considering the fact that this is a much more capable system that the crappy ABS and T/C that older vehicles had.

  • @BarboursAutoHelp
    @BarboursAutoHelpКүн бұрын

    I see where you’re coming from but they didn’t have to join 4 parts and make them one unit. The one shown in video is a cheap one. The chances of having to replace those part went up when they combined them.

  • @sidserv1978
    @sidserv1978Күн бұрын

    All the new traction control and abs is run through that unit. 1k is not too expensive for what it is. Try replacing one of those on a freightliner. The bleeding is not exactly quick and easy. Plus the software to program it to the vehicle. Nothing on a newer vehicle is cheap. The old brake systems had garbage for abs compared to the new systems. On a relatively small school bus fleet (36) I average 8k in parts per week. Plus i average 50 hours a week in labor to install those parts.

  • @BarboursAutoHelp
    @BarboursAutoHelpКүн бұрын

    lol. I’m not saying compared to other vehicles this one is expensive. Im saying they didn’t have to combine them and increase the cost. They also increased the probability that the unit as a whole will have to be replaced when they joined everything in my opinion.

    Liked & Subscribed. Every planet came into alignment for me w/ this video - this marks the *first time* that a how-to video exactly matched the issue I'm trying to resolve (same make/model/ yr/ engine type - I mean, down to the part & it's breaking point). Hoping it's a good omen if those are even a thing.

    Hi, Thank you so much for this video it really showed me where I screwed up!! Omg.. so quick question. Since I literally unscrewed that 15mm bolt to release the belt while installing a new water pump and now I Can’t get the belt tight when putting it back on. I’ve tried too much to tighten this belt nd nothing seems to work. So should I just purchase a new pulley or do you have any suggestions to get this belt tight again? Thanks in Advice. Great video you have here by the way 😊 2005 SRX caddi

    Back in the 80's, I was taught to compress the pistons with a clamp or pliers without opening the bleeders, but it makes complete sense to open them, especially on cars with an HCU. It's crazy how many professional mechanics on you tube still dont open them, saying its not required. Thanks for the video!

    I did the test and as many have experienced, it turned green. I would say this is negative, since if you do the same test in the open air or in the house, it will also turn green.

    For removing the plastic cover, some of those cars with the Supercharger have a bolt that screws into the top, in the supercharger that'll need to be removed as well
