    Was there a legitimate reason as to why you wouldn't write your mom a ticket?

  • @user-eh1ei3eg5k
    @user-eh1ei3eg5k22 сағат бұрын

    The one about writing your mom a ticket, was that sarcasm? Or would that actually be the right answer? I attended a prep class a few weeks ago and one of the questions on the practice exam was would you ever arrest your partner if they were in the wrong? And the answer we were told to choose was yes. I would just assume this would be the same for family members.

    I had my interview yesterday, and I think I messed up by saying I should show up to work more at my other job. I followed up by saying I work 6 days 10-12 hours while my wife giving birth and having a new born at home. Did I make a mistake?

    You're completely wrong about posted. Speed limits. I was a law enforcement officer for 15 years. Then, because of crap politics and corruption, I decided to go and educate myself after educating myself and learning how to conduct Factual based studies backed by facts and citations. I learned how wrong a lot of what is being taught in-law. Enforcement really is.

    Brother thank you for all the great tips. Just passed today. Took the CJBAT in Florida. I had and 1-1/2 hr. to complete, I believe it was 142 questions. Another thing, the pic memo was 1 minute not 2, reading the questions first kidda help. Not sure if they’ve changed things but the scenarios were lengthy. I don’t remember a Spacial “map” question. Several graphs question, that’s all I want to remember. And yes, I was able to login and see my score. Thanks for this video. Good luck Crime Fighters.

    Honestly it's about what you can articulate on the why you would or wouldn't. When I took my oral board I was asked that question from a agency. I told them I would write my mom ticket because I believe that she should be my biggest supporter for the career I'm taking and knowing What I'm doing she should be held to a higher standard than most. And I passed my oral board and was told they loved my answer.

    9:52 The reason is that the world needs good young people in positions of power. Just more good young men in general. The world will never be harmed by adding another good man into it. The fact that they need people who are willing to care and try their best to make changes in their community. For example even if they have some great officers, they will always need more. I understand not everyone is fit to be an officer. But I understand that I'm compelled for purposeful work. McDonald's doesn't make me feel like I'm helping anybody. Being able to go out day in and out and have a chance to i don't know get someone into rehab, get a homeless guy back on his feet, to encourage people to see differently about law enforcement in general, to be able to actually use and utilize some of the more valuable skills I've learned along the way in life as well as to truly push myself to grow these skills. The reason I want to be a police officer is because I'm inclined to help other police officers already. I have helped officers before as a citizen. They have also saved my life before. I would just like the opportunity to prove that I can help. This and many many more reasons are why personally it sounds like something meaningful. But regardless I am starting to look into personal security work anyways and other fields of work. I just really need to work hard to convince people I can be dedicated the way I say I want to be. Walk the walk right.

    The companies (not the officers/deputies) making these sneaky things, like the Stalker Lidar, are no different than the shipyards and factories that supplied the Japanese and Nazi war machines during WWII. Point something at motorists from 1500 feet away. No honor in that at all. If the po po really find pointing lasers fun, why not join Spec Ops and you can point lasers directing REAL WEAPONS for a change. NM, most of you would not qualify. 🤣🤣

    This guy talking about not getting paid? The F? They get six figures most out here close to 200-300k. On top of that they moonlight as security for more $$$. Cops get paid A LOT. In shape bonus, access to low interest financing, robust health care, in house gyms or free membership to commercial gyms.

  • @utry_daniel438
    @utry_daniel43813 күн бұрын

    Where tf do you live where cops are making 200-300k. I don't even think the chief's or sherrif's themselves make that much anywhere within a 12 hour drive from where I live. A lot of them do get good benefits though, I'll give you that.

  • @geowa3724
    @geowa3724Ай бұрын

    So you’re scared of everyone and want to hurt everyone? Be a cop then. You’ll fit right in with the rest of them. They all cry about the dangers of the job and how stressful it is. However they fail to realize their job isn’t that bad. They are ranked 23rd in the US for most dangerous jobs, behind groundskeepers, garbage collectors , construction workers and mechanics. Cops also get far more protection with equipment. The protection a LOT of people bring up is qualified immunity where cops can break laws and not be held accountable. They can completely destroy an innocent persons life and face no repercussions. Proving innocence from a cops is a task/bill of 10-20k normally and takes years. Cops just goes on and arrests more innocent people since accountability is lacking. So cops if you want respect then hold yourselves to higher standards like you say you do. Know the laws you are supposed to enforce. Don’t treat everyone you encounter as a threat or immediately guilty. Investigate first, do your job and remember you serve the PUBLIC. The public does not serve you.

    You say "the job isn't that bad" have you served in law enforcement or any public safety job? Have u ever had a gun pointed at you, someone charging at you with a long knife, gotten into a serious fights for your life without backup, chase dangerous violent criminals on foot or in a vehicle? Saying "it isn't that bad" is an extreme understatement for this job.

    For Nevada State Police 11.5" vertical jump, 24 pushups no time limit, 24 situps in 1 minute, 300 agility test in 24 seconds, 1.5 mile run in 20 minutes. It is a big challenge for me but who does not love challenges? currently I cant do the majority; about 5 pushups and 4 situps, jogging have no tried just jet. I have 70 pounds overweight from my ideal body weight, very sedentary work where I have half day sitting in company car and half day physically working, then lot of junk food out; not too different from police routines in that sense. So my weight should be 145-150 and I am at 210 right now, but here is the kicker; I know how to get it down, 2 years ago I trained to go up mount Whitney because my first attempt in 2016 failed, was way too overweight for the challenge at 216 pounds at that time, so by cutting the crap like you said, no soda, no rice, no bread, crackers, just water, small meals of fish and vegetables, mostly broccoli, steamed nothing fried, no meats, not even chicken, lot of zero calories stuff like sauces and dressing for salads, one favorite of mine which makes you feel full and does not add weight is watermelon; was watching the calories intake and trying to live on less than 2000 calories per day, dialed it into 1400 calories and did 1 hour treadmill or 1.5 hours per day plus regular normal routines; I dropped down from 216 to 185 from January 2022 through April, no training program, no other exercises, only that diet that I made up and treadmill, just consistency and in July 2022 had the mountain as reward, STILL was hard as hell on me as my weight was in no way ideal, I felt I needed 31 more pounds off me but I summit and felt like a small (some say it is no joke and in no way small but a big deal) challenge accomplished which is why I believe I can do this one as well and then for better health choice try to hold the line then and be done with the junk; so the formula is simple, burn more calories than what you intake, but having close to 3k calories per day it is hard to burn out so much unless expending half day exercising. So I am interested in a training program for this; I may not need to shed all 70 pounds to start the academy but that is my ultimate goal, if I can drop 30 pounds again and with a good endurance training I believe I can meet the minimum requirements; my recruiter told me he will keep sending the emails every month as I asked for time to get in shape, few months probably, he said when I feel ready to respond he will then schedule test time. Thank you for this video.
