Brian you truly are an amazing person! 👏 Bravo tonight on zoom in MN. I'm not an Amazon prime customer so I couldn't get my hands on Kelly's Hollywood. How else could I get my hands on it? Thank you so much for all your time and energy. Just being able to watch the previews put me into tears. ❤️ Katy and Blake -Just listening to you now at this interview pure truth you speak when it comes to our special needs kiddos. They write their own rule books. Hats off to you 👏 seriously. I get so tired of doctors telling me Andrews limits when he is seriously amazing. This has been very challenging for my family but we are doing it all one day at a time and Andrew helps us everyday to have strength and he teaches us to be so brave. Thank you Thank you so much. 🙏 ❤️

i had quite a lot to say about this as well---- and this is coming from someone who has over 20 years experience working in the disabled communities and in advocacy services : this was a great documentary i love how the parents seemed to have taught her skills and so she did make choices, decisions, and think for herself, that is great they instilled that ... and the brothers love is awesome, how ever what really sucked and definitely did not do her any favors, was to indulge her in the fantasy relationships and romances, shew was frustrated and lonely ! and s he should have been presented with more options and actual relationship opportunities, as well as opportunities for acting and performing, her singing was nothing great, but she would have been a good actors he did have the knack for it, with help and guidance she could have been a worthy actor i think. i have found in over 20 years of working with disabled folks as well as being a disabled person ( learning disability, and mild cp ) is that indulging in those fantasies , especially in adulthood, hurts them in the long run, its sets them up for disappointment and frustration..... but it IS good to, if a person has dreams and goals, to help them pursue them as much as possible, and setting up real, genuine opportunities for relationships and friendships -- not keeping a person in fantasy land. im glad they shared the sexual harassment thing, because the process she did to get that letter and do all that, SHOWS she was intelligent!! , slow, delayed, some learning disabilities, yes. but she was by NO means, simple minded or stupid, or dumb, or incapable, she was very bright, and if her heart had been healthy, or at least fixable, i dont see any reason why she could not have went after her goals of doing real performing with small acting troops and even the big time in Hollywood the over-indulging , the sexual harassment, the living in fantasy land, imaginary loves, it not cute, its not funny, but sharing that shows just how intelligent and capable she really was, and they should have fostered that and helped her grow , instead of indulging all her life in these fantasies that is why she did that, she was living out her fantasies because that was all she had , since they did not help her go after her dreams and help her opportunities, real ones in relationships as well as her goals. Her parents and siblings should have helped her go after her dreams and goals, and have a REAL life, not indulge her fantasy life, that does disabled people more harm than good in the long run, as we see with kelly in this lil doc, she is happy, but not always she is doing things like harassment and manipulation because SHE WAS LONELY AND BORED AND FRUSTRATED, she could have had real relationships, real acting opportunities, even if that meant letting her move to california , get involved in some small acting troops ad stage groups, get some assistive services, an apartment with supports and so on, she was plenty smart, had people took the time to explore more out oft he box thinking options,

@@briandonovan6317 Yeah I decided to share in amazon reviews when I got a email asking if I’d like to review the film after watching it so I copy pasted my comment here, to amazon, thanks man, I’m glad the feedback was well received, i think it is very important that people realize that they should not give credit where it isnt due--- if the person is horrible at singing, dont tell them they are great when they are not !... if they ARE good at acting, then yes, by all means, tell them teyare good at acrting, if that is their passion, help em persue it ... but anyways glad to chat with ya, and I hope you are still doing well and making more films I think it was a very well put together doc. :)

You can see that Brian loves his sister but there was a lot of overcompensating going on and I have a big problem with him letting her sleep in his bed because when he got a girlfriend Kelly didn't understand why she couldn't sleep with him anymore that never should have started ,but anyway he did love her ... to me the big hero is the girlfriend who waited and said someday you'll have going to have to put me first and I'm glad he finally did because something isn't healthy if the woman your intimate and would like to marry and live your life with feels like a second-class citizen in your life, then something's off-kilter even with the best intentions, our actions can sometime go awry and then you have a sister who can't let go. in my book, the hero in the end is the girlfriend, for waiting for him to figure it out

Brian Donovan I just want to share this with you. I was a supervisor for the cleaning staff at a high school before my injury and a teacher asked me if I would please let this young lady from her special needs class named Emily work with us cleaning the cafeteria for her life skills job. I had an absolute blast with Emily for her last two years of high school. One day Emily was talking to her imaginary friend and of course someone said something negative about it I told them just because you can't see who she is taking to doesn't mean that they aren't there. I also let Emily drive our automatic floor scrubber on her last week of school she had an absolute blast I was so happy to see how much she enjoyed driving that around the cafeteria.

I'd like to thank all of you for your support of the film. It's been a wonderful journey and an incredible honor to celebrate my sister's legacy. I know from all the Q&As I've done there's always more questions than answers that come up from watching a documentary, but I hope you got some sense of the world of Kelly, the good the bad and everything in between. As to the comments below from Trace, I only ask that you find it in your heart to let "love" rise to the top, or try to. We didn't do it all perfect as a family, but we tried and we loved and that is the most important thing we can do. And for the record, Kelly got in trouble by the family and by work for her sexual harassment antics--but that wasn't what I wanted to say at that moment in the film. All the best, Brian

Maybe I'm watching something different, but I found Kelly to to very intelligent and very manipulative. And the family only made it worse. I think she could've had a "normal" life. She was smart enough too, but they babied her and made excuses for her and let her get away with bad behavior. I have a special needs son and I will hold him to the same standards that I expect from my other children.

I just love how they all thought it was funny when she, and her ATTORNEY cousin accuses an INNOCENT man of sexual harassment. The only thing they had to say about it was how surprised they were about her intelligence and thought it was funny. Well sorry I don't find that shit funny.

im glad they shared it, but yeah it was not funny, but sharing that shows just how intelligent and capable she really was, and thy should have fostered that and helped her grow , instead of indulging all her life in these fantasies that is why she did that, she was living out her fantasies because that was all she had , since they did not help her go after her dreams and help her opportunties, real ones in relationships as well as her goals.

I'm not a brilliant person or anything... when I was 15 I picked up the Naruto Manga from Shonen Jump...it was Rock Lee vs Gaara, I read that Lee had no talent or anything.... he was made fun of a lot, like me.....but yet he pushed himself to be the best...its silly to say it...but thanks to that anime & character, it gave me something I didn't have for a long time, something that got me through some of the hardest 4 years of my life, Hope & motivation.. thank you Brian so much... I know you didn't create Lee, but you brought him to life with your voice & personality

Man, what I would give to meet Brian at a con. Rock Lee was my all time favorite ninja in Naruto and is still my favorite to this day.

There is a convention in July in Tampa Florida. Which is about 3 1/2 hours from me. I will do everything in my power to try to get them to contact you. I have no idea how to go about this. But you can bet I'll try(: <3

Brian, The documentary you made of your sister is breathtaking! You caught the essence of her love for you and her passion for being a star! My son just turned 21 years old he has a third syndrome. When he was born they told me to take him home and love him and not to expect him to walk or talk. He just recently graduated from college and has proven that with love, patience, and a passion for life you can live your dreams! You should be proud of what you have created along with finding your own happiness! God Bless!
