Moving video. I find it interesting, the different ways that people process death and grief. I almost died when I was 15 (anaphylactic shock). I didn't want to die, but I also didn't feel afraid or lonely. It was oddly peaceful. The only problem was that I knew how much it would impact my family if I died (especially my mother, who was holding my hand), and that bothered me. Even in the mind space where I didn't feel connected to my body and didn't care about staying, I couldn't help but be sad for my family. On the other side of things, I lost my grandfather to suicide when I was 18. The grief was an endless pit. I don't even have the proper words to describe how deeply it hurt. That was in 2010, but it's still painful if I think about it too much. I had already lost my other 3 grandparents, to natural causes, and I could accept that. But this was different. It's so different when someone chooses to leave you. He didn't leave a note to explain or anything, so we can only guess why. And no, it wasn't the end of the world, but it did make my world just that much darker. Anyway, I'm crying now, so let that be a testament to how well you expressed the emotions and message through this video!

Thank you so much for sharing your story, it means a lot to me (my world can also go very dark sometimes) It's interesting because you almost die but you also experienced the people you care about being gone so you have both points of view on death, I pray that you find peace 🙏
