    Had the Caldwell shadows. Loved them, only downside was that they kept slipping out on runs. But trying out these axils.

    I could see these accidentally deploying in the quiver then I gotta get my little finger condoms out during a freezing morning to fix it. There’s too much to go wrong in bow hunting not to use a good fixed blade. But to each their own.

    Hell there is a ton of solid fixed heads that cost $35-$50 for 3 heads that you’ll never need new ones or even a couple mechanicals that are strong enough to just replace the blades to resuse that cost $24-35 for 3 heads as well

    I have never been a numbers guy. I have always focused on form and effort! I can 1000% see the benefit for this for protecting your shoulders and elbows and assisting with form correction. Typically from December to August I focus on adding muscle and strength then from August to October i switch over to a more endurance/ athletic approach to my training to prepare for the upcoming hunting season. Love doing weighted tire drags as the season approaches to build up the leg endurance!

    I’ve been testing those but the 125 version. As good as any head 3 times the price. Also the steel is the Asian equivalent to D2 tool steel. It’s a very hard steel. Harder and holds a edge better and better wear resistance than A2 or S7. But a little more brittle. it’s a tool steel, so being called brittle in the tool steel world, well its still more impact resistant than just about everything else.

    I'm a UPS package car driver. I used them all day today (8/16) Super lightweight. Stayed on my face all day without moving or having to readjust them. I like not having to take my sunglasses off while inside the cargo area to read the label. I just adjusted the tint. I didn't listen to music all day. Maybe solid 3.5 hours. Had about 40% battery left. I work about 9 to 10 hours a day. So the battery wouldn't last. But I like listening to my podcast. I really enjoyed having these today. Can wait to bike ride or run in them and listen to my music or a podcast. I love my ray bans (4 pairs) but these are now my new work and running/biking sunglasses!

    Y’all really need Broadhead tune to get those bows shooting fixed heads to point of aim. You should be able to screw on most any head and have it hit with field points on a well tuned bow not this multiple shot stuff.

    We already did, this is a completely different weight & Broadhead setup that what he is sighted in to We shoot so many different TAW’s, broadheads etc this is bound to happen it’s kind of common sense… now if it was our hunting setup that’d be different

  • @daltonbbf756
    @daltonbbf7563 күн бұрын

    @@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA why not use your hunting setup on everything for consistency. Changing variables in a test leads to faulty test. Eliminating as many possible factors in a test so it’s consistent as possible is just common sense.

  • @BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA
    @BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA3 күн бұрын

    @daltonbbf756 you do understand our hunting setup would be using the Broadhead we hunt with right…. So how would we test other heads and use our hunting setup ahaha The arrow / vanes etc are all the same as it’s what we hunt with, I just assumed that was a given lol but we test different broadheads & different weights of broadheads which the only difference is the head itself so therefore by your definition it is eliminating variables as we already knew lol

  • @daltonbbf756
    @daltonbbf7563 күн бұрын

    @@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA then with a properly tuned bow and constant form you shouldn’t be seeing these larger variations in flight shooting 100 to 125 grains won’t make much to any difference at such a short distance. Yes you can claim it effects the spine and it will ever so slightly but not nearly enough for the inaccuracies seen in the flight in the videos. I’ve take multiple Broadheads same arrow shaft all hit with field points at 20 yards once you pass that sure you’ll see larger variations but missing and trying to zero in that shotgun pattern makes the video look sloppy and makes more room for error in each test. If one Broadhead has proper arrow flight and the next doesn’t the proper flight should have better penetration directing its energy in the most liner path. Really just seems like your setup needs to be tuned or someone has a ton of hand torque.

  • @BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA
    @BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA3 күн бұрын

    @daltonbbf756 or maybe we just shot like shit…. I mean it’s not rocket science the bow is tuned to the arrow he hunts with, you can see a difference in flight from head to head we see it a lot But the human factor is in there too we ain’t robots
