I feel like you came into this review already hating bowmar and hating the broadhead. You shot a sock and bone into ballistic gel. This isn’t a review, it’s a “hate” post.

I had zero reason to hate the Broadhead I was hoping it’d perform as I spent $120 on them Every Broadhead I hope performs on the video as that is better for the video Also this style test has worked over & over with every other Broadhead, as I actually said in the video the BA technology is what I thought was the culprit of it not deploying as it tried to avoid resistance regardless this isn’t for me as my fixed heads that cost less for 6 heads have performed flawlessly in this test style & proven afield

Love the channel, guys. But to be fair to any broadhead test is the fact that ballistic gel is not living tissue. A sock is not living tissue. An old bone is not living tissue. Your test is flawed. You need a more realistic testing method. 1. First layer a piece of deer hyde or elk hyde or a piece of leather to simulate the first layer more accurately. 2. Second layer, use a tenderloin or some type of thick meat that is several inches thick. 3. Third layer, add your bone. 4. Fourth layer, add more meat/tissue to simulate the inner cavity of the animal to show the actual deployment of the blades, along with the ability to avoid bone, and then penetrate the inside of cavity of the animal. 5. Fifth, you need some type of lubricant to simulate fluid/blood --- I would be willing to bet these broadheads would show a huge cut, blood trail, etc. Using a sock, a bone and then ballistic gel is not realistic at all... its like you turned the animal inside out to test this broadhead; not to mention using materials that do not simulate an animal! I would agree these things are pricy, no argument there. But there are a lot of high level archery hunters that swear by mechanicals. To chop this broadhead up to "junk" is grossly unfair based on this test method. There are other youtubers that have tested this broadhead and graded it as one of the highest quality mechanicals on the market due to several factors, but you all can find those sites at your leisure. Thanks again for the review and overall work...

What you just listed as a proper test is just ridiculous that’s called shooting animals essentially lol This test works with every Broadhead we’ve done so far and we’re over 200 tests so it works to see the performance just this Broadhead performed piss poor and even more so at the $30 a head price point I’m not really influenced by what high level archery hunters or any KZread channels do as most are paid or sponsored, I let the performance talk and the test walk and this testing style has landed me the best hunting setup in performance I’ve had seen so clearly it works

It won’t make a “boom” per se, it would make a small whip crack sound, not audible while the broadhead impacts. Think of it like a supersonic bullet, you’d only hear the “boom” if it’s going directly over your head, even then it’s super quiet I’ll also note, the box says “up to” 940 or whatever mph, that’s including the impact and speed of the bow, I do doubt they’re going that fast though 😂maybe with his amped up 140lb bow or whatever steroid man is shooting

in all fairness- what is suppose to make it great also presents a weakness in your test. IMO, the friction of the bone evading blades entering the gell is too much for the springs. I know it sounds silly but i bet if you shot into an animal you would not have the friction the gell presents. As a test, take some Pam and spray it on the broadhead blades and try again and see if that doesnt help... idk. I also bet any mechaincal blade would get messed up when going thru bone. The sharper the broadhead the finer the edge on a double edge... its going to take some damage. The good was that thing seemed durable, most mechanicals would of had bent blades. And your 100 % correct- a bit over priced.
