everyday since season 11 have i seen in top 500 atleast 2 teammates in open q just to counterpick in spawn it has gotten as bad as 4 tanks as in 2 tanks on each team just spawn swap the entire match on durado

I think the most important part about this is that 6v6 was more fun in general. I remember then they announced 5v5 as a "less walking behind a shield and more aim heavy and faster gameplay" and I can honestly say that I was clueless and thought that it sounded like a good idea. I, as a Quake player, loved the idea that OW2 was going to be more like Quake (talking about my imagination now and how I thought it would be lol). But Ive played around 15h since OW2 was released because I cannot find a way to enjoy it sadly. OW was my favourite game and I was blown away when I played it the first time and could not stop playing it. I played 8h a day for the first 350h. Btw my most played characters are: Ball Baptiste Lucio Ana Cassidy Echo Soldier And I loved Doomfist in OW1 but I never practiced him enough to really get into it.
I enjoyed the comradery between tanks
you kinda made me realize blizard has had a hard time understanding how to balance OW for a long time

in OW1 I LOVED to play total mayhem. Now in OW2 I just don't touch this mode ever anymore because the TANKS JUST DON T DIE. I miss this game mode but it's just terrible. So yeah ok I know, it's just an arcade mode. But that's just so obvious that 5v5 sucks af. It was obvious the very moment they announced it. Why do "coachs" and "pros" needed 2 years to see it ?
Im not a competitive player, i play 100% for casual fun. And its not even fun for me. I quit OW when OW2 came out, and only just picked it up 2 weeks ago... And its already been disappointing. Guess its time to quit again

It's crazy that you released this BEFORE Blizzard did yet another gigabuff tank patch by buffing armor, buffing tank passive, and buffing literally every tank at least 1 way (most more than one). Unreal.
Absolutely. We need to go back to 6v6. The tank swapping in OW2 is so absurd. Give Reinhart the only tank shield, and go back!!!

Blizzard killed overwatch as soon as they made it 5v5
The more time passes, the less I want to come back. This just isn't the game I fell in love with. Balancing is awful, monetisation is awful, virtue signaling is awful, communication is awful. The devs working on the game now are not the people who originally created it. The vision's changed, I've accepted that it's never coming back. It was good while it lasted.

This dev team is a complete clown show. This is actually so bad. Worst season I have ever played. Pharah is just COMPLETELY broken. Tank is absurdly busted. There is no hope for this game anymore. I played 2 days of this trash an I am just sick of it already.
What about implementing 7v7? No one ever discusses that.

I’m just mad I can’t play the game I spent 40 bucks on anymore. If people like 5v5 they can go ahead and keep doing that but no OPTION to play 6v6 anymore is just cruel, honestly.

Is that less ult charge buff an increase from his original OW1 buff or a return of it? I think the biggest nightmare about overwatch patch notes and balance changes would the mountain of times where blizzard worded things like changes were not a reversion of changes made prior. We don't have proper documentation or summaries of hero changes over time on wiki's that are reliable.

The issue with tank durability pre patch was entirely due to the 5v5 format meaning you can only have one tank making them the highest priority target in every fight, tank dies = team dies Therefor, since every tank gets hard-focused, they die pretty fast; tanks complain that they have no durability due to enemies prioritizing them. Note, that this isn’t a mechanical issue, it’s a meta issue of players choosing the most important targets; but tank players may not realize it because this is a pretty bird-eye view issue In a 6v6 format, two tanks means that the other roles become more viable targets and you can have 2 tanks to prevent a team wipe if one messes up
This is why you can't even be mad at the devs for doing this, they are trying to keep 5v5 so they obviously are going to make tanks more durable since it's only one of them. In my opinion everyone should just be asking for 6v6 to be brought back instead of making the devs seem dumb for just doing all they can to try to make 5v5 work. I do think they need to revert to 6v6 now though or add a 6v6 mode.

I think more people would play tank if the responsibility was shared between 2 rather than one solo tank. I know I'd feel more comfortable trying tank if it weren't just me alone.
I ve quit tank because of 5v5, I was a proud tank main but now playing tank is like working at mcdonald and having to cook AND to serve at the same time. fkg insane
