    I think a Cab Sav and a Merlot and maybe a sav blanc and chenin blank. But that's a bit of a guess. It was a few months ago now. Might be worth asking in the FB groups.

    @@TienTran-nw5bd As a mexican I can tell you that it’s very safe to stay inside the resorts . You can even take a tour to the pyramids or any park like Xcaret, Xel-ha, etc. The tourist zone in cancun is safe and a lot of Americans come here every year, specially in that kinds of luxury hotels like atelier because most mexicans don’t earn enough money (unfortunately). So dont worry my friend I always go once a year to cancun and I see many Americans having fun. I went to atelier last year and now i will go on June!

    Doing the Jakarta run in 2 weeks, last leg return was cancelled by Sri Lankan and they wanted to put me on Columbo to Abu Dhabi flight 24 hrs later which messed up my UK return flight, having watched your video I asked them to switch to the Dubai flight and that’s now currently booked. Fingers crossed Jakarta to columbo flight is ok, timing is only a 55m connection in Columbo now

    My CMB to DXB ended up being my best flight of the 4 so hope you make it. Likely to be a short distance between the gates and I had a welcoming party showing me where to go so you should be ok. Don’t take checked luggage of course. I’d still have a contingency up your sleeve. I had one eye on the LHR flight. Lastly, make sure you keep all boarding passes and etkts etc. - I’m still battling with BA for my outbound TPs.

    Before covid, they were giving out champagne in an actual glass cup? Sounds like a safety concern in the event of turbulence/clumsy customers. Personally, I'm happy with plastic. Especially knowing other peoples lips havent been on it, because i dont trust that employees would effectively wash the cups lol.

    Do you take your own cutlery to restaurants? I think you have to trust the business to wash their dining equipment. Glass gives a more premium feel in my opinion. If this is a US rule then that’s different.

    So, if we are arriving from a long-haul flight at C gates ... have a two-hour layover before our connecting flight (also at C gates) ... is this the best lounge to take a shower or would you recommend going all the way over to the Concorde Room?

  • @gazzis
    @gazzis2 ай бұрын

    If you have access to the CR then go to the CR I would say. But if you only have time for a shower then Bs are fine. I think if you plan to go from C to main terminal you may need to get train to B then walk to Main terminal via level -4 walkway. If you use train to go from C to main then I understand you pop up the wrong side of security. Sorry for slow reply! Need to sort my notifications!

    Ex-EU to West Coast of the states is a regular run as far as I know. I wasn’t really fussed about the destination but I do like Vegas. This particular route was the best £/TP I could find at the time. What are the much better ways do you think?

  • @coopa2002
    @coopa20025 ай бұрын

    @@gazzis Again it’s subjective as if the destination is not one you’d like to go to then that takes half of the value away. The Sri Lankan run from AUH-CMB-MNL and back can be had for sub £800 which nets 560 tier points. AGP-HEL-LHR-JFK-LAX-SFO nets around 1080 TP return and can be had for around £1300-1500.
