Sorry to comment on old video but do you have any bugnet with the tent?
@@user-ur1mr7yx6d I don’t use a bugnet, but a bivy bag as it is more flexible.
Welcome to Tajikistan 🇹🇯
Lot of people drag down the zip-neck version of R1 Air compared to Full-Zip Hoody. Don’t agree with them. This is a 2nd layer fleece, not jacket. Design for warmth, not a wind stopper. For me, hood is just a nuisance when worn under my jacket so zip-neck is a great version. As for sizing, depends on the person. I am 195cm,110kg, athletic build and XL is great for me. XXL is to wide around my abdomen. As if it is designed for people with large stomach
I like the cup.
İ like it. But not far distances
Hi do you think its good bag for a 1 year world trip ? Thanks
Would you buy this or spend some more on Hilleberg Rogen or less on MSR Hubba Hubba?
@@Parakitedude People buy the best tent for their budget. If your budget allows you to get a Space Seamless 2-3P then that’s great. It’s a fantastic tent (just used it in the Turku Archipelago) and Vaude is one of the best Brands when it comes to sustainability - Hilleberg and MSR can learn something from them there.
I can see a a pic after do it this, yet still not import!! anyone can help?
Solved!! I have a Sony a7SIII so I change the "ILCE-7M2" to ILCE-7SM3" and all its imported!!
It’s amazing how the gas cylinder suddenly completely changed colour and size half way through 👌🏼
The forest is very nice looking
If you're using it alone, would you still go with the Hapi or stick with the Khufu? For 2 people the Hapi makes a lot of sense. I'm debating if the Hapi would be nicer of a setup to use an entire side as a vestibule instead of front of tent
thank you
The best test video I have ever seen by far. Really helpful for me to decide which one is best for me. Thanks 🙏👏👍
Would you buy this over a7iv right now?
Do you think its good for climbing gear ?
Hei mate, as Arc’teryx is a climbing company I’d say yes - it should be great for hauling kit to the crag & back!
Hello question can I use a 2x teleconvertor with this lens 😅😅😅
Anyone know what max phone size fits in the strap pocket?
maybe they fixed the startup time in a firmwareupdate bc my a7r iv takes about 2 seconds to start.
Great demo! Cheers 👍
I like that if the pull tab is exposed you can just slip the poles into the tent as you remove from stuff sack
Wow. Just wow. This is so beautiful.
I'm so confused Here this guy is going his true size and getting layers underneath and it seems he can move Another guy on YT saying go one size larger and the same with comments on reddit
Thanks for this video. I’m currently a Canon user looking to purchase a Sony, so watching your video helps me learn & understand the Sony’s capabilities. I’m also an astrophotographer, just experienced & photographed the 2024 total eclipse in the US, and now I’m in the market for more resolution. Will be in Norway soon to visit friends in Tromsø, I’d like to have my Sony gear dialed in prior to my visit. “A bad day outdoors is better than a good day in the office.”
how did you get the video micro to sound so good??? I storm chase but even in the slightest breeze the thing sounds like im in gale force winds.
I didn’t do anything special 🤣 Maybe you have a faulty unit?!
@@HendrikMorkel might be the camera? I can’t change audio levels manually through the camera when it’s connected (I have a Sony a6400) And unless I have bad luck I don’t think it’s a faulty mic because it didn’t change when I bought the undated version of the video micro. Reason being was because I thought it was because of the mount.
thank you 10 years later
Thanks great review!!
nice received )) i thing it was cool to going to karelia with it! meet us there))
I could not decide between M and L,do you believe would it be disadvantageous for cold weathers if I choose L, looser fit?
I don’t think so. You could also go to a store and try both sizes on, or order both and return the one you don’t want 😊
It doesn't last long. The fluff compresses very quickly and does NOT bounce back.
Rode Video micro I think is the best
Just wondering how you guys can cook in rough weather 😢 I just got one but don’t know what to do because it hasn’t got a vestibule Any help would be appreciated thanks
Thanks dude, this helped!
Another good video Hendrik, thanks. I still prefer my Tarptent MOMENT DW to the ENAN design. The latest version is stronger and great in high winds. It's excellent ventilation keeps it fairly free on condensation.
Hi. We will trek through Reisa National Park. Is it realistic to cross the river to the Mollisfossen waterfall? The tourist trail leads along the opposite side of the river. Or we have to be lucky enough to find someone who will transport us. Thank you for your response
Hei there! When we were there in autumn the water of the river was very low and fording the river should be no problem if you know how to do it safely. If you see a boat you always can ask if they can give you a ride!
This was really helpful, thanks a ton!
Glad it was helpful!
How much is the gregory optic 48
You can find it for around 130€.
Wow Nice, keep it up.
Thanks a lot!
Hugely informative. For running (around 5:15 min/km) in 2-10C with or without a wind over a base layer would you be too hot? Or would a ultra light wind shirt be better? I’m torn between the two? Keep up the great work!
Thanks! At that speed I might be too hot already, and a windshirt over a baselayer would work probably better for me. You might want to try a Vest, though?!
@@HendrikMorkel I have a vest and it works well. Would be in colder weather and/or in light rain. Thanks for the suggestion.
Bruh them is women sizes ain’t never seen those sizes so tight
i wish they made a vest version
What cameras do you use? Which phd jacket?
It’s a Yukon Jacket and I used a Sony A7III here.
Waxable or waxless skis ? What temps were you in? Full or essy skins? Nice vid thanks
Hei Tony, waxless BC skis, but I had proper skiing skis with me which had full-length skins. Temps were around -10 to -15 C and colder with Windchill.
Perfect trip. Love this footage. Packrafting is so pleasure way of spending free time. Keep going. Sub & like pushed.
Thanks for the sub!
So what size North Face Jacket should I get if I’m a 6” weight 187 waist size 33-34. Basically I’m tall with long arms
To be honest none of them sound good. Pro+ is the best in reducing crackling noise, but either way there's a lot of wind-blowing bass noise. RODE should desing more windproof deadcats, Sennheiser is already doing that. Anyway, anything is better than built-in mic. VideoMicro sounds suprisingly well compared to more expensive mics, but that clipping and crackling noise are absolutely unacceptable.
But isnt all difference here is when canister becomes half full or less, this is when performance of non winter gas should drop?
4:14 it's a fleece, it's not made to be windproof...
Oh really …?!
Thank you !!! Nice Review !!!
Thanks!
Looks class
Great video, I’m uk based and just researching my first backcountry trip and gear needed so a great help thank you
Glad it was helpful!
